Sonic 3 is top of S tier. It is not the most silly since it’s the darkest and most emotional due to adapting SA2. Yes it’s PG but everything about this film reminds me of gotg vol 3. Im not a huge sonic fan either but oh boy I was not expecting this film to have the best trailer and be the best movie of the year. What an amazing way to end of 2024 by watching it in theatres. It surpassed Deadpool and Wolverine for me. Sonic 1 was a solid 7/10 since it wasn’t too much but charming sonic 2 was an amazing 9/10 but has an unnecessary wedding side plot and sonic 3 is beyond 10/10. It’s my favourite video game movie of all time and truly a great theatre experience I’ve had. I’m a Mario fan but god I loved sonic 3 more than the Mario movie. I will cherish sonic 3 and I’m super excited for what sonic 4 has to deliver.

@@Infamess0 Sean chandler, doom blazer, zach pope, and Austin Burke are all better than this hot take dude. I don’t care if it’s his option because his hot takes sound so discouraging. Also it doesn’t make sense as to why he hates the humour in sonic 3 but likes the humour in any mcu film especially those in post endgame cuz the sonic films have great jokes that land and make the characters so likeable while superhero movies these days have forced jokes that don’t land.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is my favorite movie this year, Venom The Last Dance is my second favorite movie this year, Godzilla X Kong The New Empire is probably my third favorite movie this year. And to be honest I thought Sonic 3 was such a let down and very disappointing, I also thought Deadpool & Wolverine was disappointing too, definitely not as good as I thought it was going to be.

Dune part 2 and sonic 3 deserve better! I swear when ever Chris dislikes movies that many people love, I sometimes feel discouraged to see them. I know it’s his opinion but still it kinda hurts. Sean chandler on the other hand makes things feel better and he loves those two movies. He liked quantumania and frozen empire but dislikes sonic 3 and kingdom of the planet of the apes. He is also too lazy to watch movies that are very good like the wild robot and transformers one as well as being too slow to finish Agatha despite him liking it way more than echo and secret invasion which he was able to finish. He thinks the Mario movie isn’t good because he thinks there is no chemistry between the characters but really there is between Mario and Luigi, Mario and peach, and Mario and dk. Chris just likes to be unfair to big blockbuster movies and enjoy simple generic stuff. Sean chandler is always fair and his opinions almost never piss off people unlike Chris.
