😂 I don't know how many times I heard " and she will stick that landing" and the gymnast took a step 😂 and then "she may get a 10 here" but the vault could only score a 9.95 max lol...some commentators are not made for commenting lol...🤦‍♀️

@@amandashaefer89 i dont know ! Lol they even said something about some of them continue on trying for the olympic after college. Lol crazy im like No if you werent an international elite or nationsl team member before college its unlikely you will be one after. Lmao all the gymnast that are trying to make Paris Olympic are past national team members and former world or Olympic champions the only one that isnt past world or olympic champions is Trinity who was 4+year member of usa national team. So No none of the gymnast competing in this competition will go on to the Olympic lol however ncaa does have a couple gymnast going for Olympic spots via different country but even those are past national team members except Blanco i dont think she was past national team member not senior anyway but she an Elite gymnast trained at Woga. The other NCAA who are olympic bound are gymnast that are national team members of different like country. Mexico, Hungry and Canada not your average level 10 gymnast that compete in college.

Not to add to the commentator hate, but it seriously seems like they have never done/watched gymnastics before or ever produced any form of language. I kept finding myself going "huh?". Thank you for the upload!

18:17 has the announcer never done/seen gymnastics or are they high? Lmao What are they on about? Olympic status? ''Stick the landing'' but says there's a small hop? Talk about ''her big hurdle and yurchenko'' and ''they need to pull out the springboard because she has so much space'' meanwhile she's literally not doing a yurchenko vault and thats why the springboard is moved. ''Hope she can score that 10 tonight'' did you not just say she had a small hop and at least a 0.05 deduction?

Thank you so much for the upload. I had to just skip to Nicki Smith bc I wanted to see the 10 and it was so well deserved! They need to fire those commentators bc they were god awful. I could do a better job commentating as a fan!

MSU's student filming crew needs to stop focusing on face's of the athletes while they're on the beam. We're missing what is really important that is going on with the lower body! We missed so many split leaps with that ridiculousness. They must be auditioning for NBC crew that does this kind of crap. We're not watching for close-ups of their faces during beam routines.

The commentating for this meet was atrocious--if you can't find commentators that know the sport just don't have any! Anything would be better than whatever this is, it honestly ruins the whole meet to have to listen to all the inaccuracies. You can't score a 10 on a Yurchenko full no matter what. Taking a hop or small step does NOT count as a stick. There are so many terms that they are just making up its just ridiculous.
