I think the Auburn vs Oklahoma game is huge for Auburn. they could be 4-0 going into that game and Auburn needs a big win very badly. It has been a couple of years since Auburn had a big win and Oklahoma sets up nicely for them.

For me, the must win game for Michigan is the Oregon game. I don't think they will beat both Texas and USC and throw in Oregon and WA. That's a tough four games. If they lose two of those than lose to Ohio State, their done. The best I see them is at 10-2.

I think all the conference games will be must wins for Auburn because they down bad! They have not been great since Cam Newton played for them no trolling. I'd say the must win game for the wolverines is USC. Their strength is their defense, and USC is the polar opposite. Losing to texas wouldn't be bad, losing to USC would set the course for the rest of the season.

A&M needs to beat LSU. An early loss to mizzou as a first year head coach is ok a&m will progressively get better. Elko isn't established like sark is at texas so I don't expect a&m to pull off the upset even if I predict it. LSU has no defense.

You really should have put the Panthers as a must-win game for Clemson. Let's say Clemson beats both NC State and Florida State. The last time Clemson was undefeated when they played the Panthers they lost and the last time Clemson played the Panthers in Pittsburgh they lost. I don't care what anybody says that's not going to be an easy win for clemson. Reference 2016 when the Panthers had one of the worst defenses ever and still beat them

*sigh* Again Lou, being one of the most unbiased analysts out there and so level-headed 😇 still believes Notre Dame is 'scared' to join a conference, totally ignoring the history of what led the Irish to their Independence, and why it is so coveted. Why Lou, why would Notre Dame join a conference if they don't have to? Especially since they wield so much power off the field without being a member of one, with Notre Dame always having representation in the playoff committee (currently alum and former associate AD Boo Corrigan) along with a fat TV contract (as of today, worth appx. $22 million per year - currently signed through the 2029 season)? As an Independent they can play anyone they want in a 12 game schedule, any being a part of other conferences, and not be hampered by a specific conference required number of games. They would also most likely lose their fat TV contract with NBC, in order to be a part of whichever conference TV deal already exists. That, in and of itself would be a big downgrade for them, a huge revenue loss, in this day and age where revenue is more important than wins...(got to be able to afford those NILs, after all...) Does that sound like they are scared? Sometimes I think you don't believe it and just say it to rile up Notre Dame fans...which you do. Or, could it be you know something I don't? Please, school me if I am missing something (besides my brain or a form of common sense in this matter)? Admittedly, you would know more than I do, since you study college football as a whole much more than I do... Bottom line, I AM a realist, believe it or not, and expect Notre Dame will in fact be forced to join a conference one day soon. But I also believe that will end up being a sweet deal for Notre Dame, as I believe that conference will have to buy out the NBC contract - at the very least...
