2024 Mustang GT Premium Review with 401A High Package, Night Pony Package, and Active Exhaust

The 2024 Ford Mustang GT has been redesigned and it retains its naturally aspirated V8, manual transmission option, and great looks and sounds. While Chevrolet is discontinuing the Camaro AGAIN because nobody likes it, and Dodge replaces the Challenger with some electric car nobody is going to buy, First On Race Day FORD keeps on keepin' on.

As an owner of a 2024 Mustang GT convertible we love the car however there is one issue that is big problem and people need to be aware of. In both front wheel wells there is an opening directly behind the wheels where stones and road dibrite get flung from the tires. The 660 has full length protection boards that are there from what I understand to help improve how air moves under the car. The stones collect and get trapped in here and also damage the coatings that they impact. I have posted several videos on my channel showing the holes, the damage that is caused and the short term fix I implemented. Fore those people who drive this car in the north through the winter this will be a big problem. If you own this car PLEASE reach out to Ford to make them aware of this design flaw so hopefully they make some changes to the inner fender well protection.

Don’t forget the 3.55 gears that come with Night pony, base GT comes with 3.15

Nite Pony is just an exterior appearance package. The Performance Pack is where the functional goodies come in.

3.55 is an option you can get in the 10 spd auto GT, you can order it without the performance package. The performance package will get you the Brembos, Magnaride suspension, and the raised spoiler option.

As an owner of a 23 x5M competition I will gladly race your mustang in my suv. I have awd and won’t spin out on takeoff or lose control into a light pole 😂. Ford……where is the awd that the mustang deserves??? It would be such a beast with awd.

This car has more SAE Net horsepower and is faster in a straight line or on a curvy road than any GTO that ever left the factory, regardless of if that factory was in the USA or Australia. Not to mention the fact that the General took Pontiac out behind the barn and put a bullet between its eyes 12 years ago, all because the Chinese prefer Buicks.
