For me, it's not that the screens look terrible, but it's the way they stand apart from the dash. It needs to fit in like a gauge cluster, not like an afterthought.

Patriot here. I’m still going with the S550 with the 401a. Personally I don’t care for the “upgrades” here as I prefer to have some analog controls and less reliance on a screen for frequently used functions.

PATRIOT HERE! Thanks for another great video Brian! Again, I was fortunate enough to sit in a 24 GT Premium at the Chicago Auto Show and the screens were fantastic with incredibly good definition and graphics. While they DO look awkward from other angles, I believe that from the driver’s seat we will be VERY happy with the placement of the screens…may take a brief “getting used to” all that video surface though. (drive-in theater 🤣) and I’m not 100% confident that glare won’t ever be an issue 😐 might be another reason to tint the windows. Also, I love the idea of having five gauges on that second screen! You can't even see the screen it's so high up on the dash of steering wheel sits right in the way I have to use the track mode so to speedometers on the bottom left-hand corner so I can see it through the steering wheel

I agree on the screens. I wish my Mustang had manual switches in addition to using the screen, my point exactly taking my eyes off the road to get my finger to press the screen. I mean, come on Ford, we get pulled over for texting and driving, this isnt much different

Patriot here!! I do like the Camaro interior better. Depending on what customizing you can do with that S650 screens I may like it better with time but the right hand side screen looks out of place like it was just plopped on the dash. The reveal video you have been waiting for comes out next Friday with a small teaser on Thursday

I played with the build from an email the other day. Minimum price for dark horse was 5k more than my mach 1 and 15 to 20k more than my mach 1 for the premium after options. Cmon Ford, don't go the way of chevy, out pricing the corvette. Glad I got my mach 1 when I did. Will be interested to see if and how they do a Bullit version of this.

Comfort not really idk about the basic pack.. but the leather seats are tight especially if your 200+ pounds and 6 ft .. other then that I love my 24 gt 401A

Look at the actual S650 with these screens. Your making an assumption because they are not setting on top of the dash. They are the front of the dash covered by a glass screen.

The Camaro is a terrible design no head room. Dated interior and one big blind spot. It's easy to see why it didn't sell. There's more to a car than performance. It's the overall design and the Camaro failed

I agree the trim around the shifter should be Chrome, the Single Screen Dash is Great though, I believe there's going to be Lots of Sun Glare and should be recessed under a Hood, and hide the Dashboard as is. The only thing that bothers me from the Rear is the Excess Plastic Rear Valance, and even more the Headlamp's MISSING the Tri-Bar instead they have the Tri - Eyebrow and Knock Off Bugatti Great Editing cool Channel 👨🏻👍🏻🏎️🏁🚩

Chrome around the shifter is a bad idea, it'll reflect sunlight right into your eyes and it's blinding and annoying for the first couple years, yea it took me a couple years to get used to it and that was a car I drove every day.

I’m an owner of a 2018 GT Premium convertible, 400A package, with more analog gauges that throwback to the era I knew and loved. As for this 2024 S650, going to pass on it for a few years. I’m willing to wait for a mid-cycle refresh (2028?) when Ford can fix the quirks that were well pointed out in this video.

I'm a bit disappointed in this "new generation," especially with the GT starting price going up to 41.5k or whatever. Why are they jacking the price up over 8% over the 23'? Also, let's be real : it's not a new gen; it's an s550 refresh. It uses the same chassis, the same overall body, and a lot of the same interior parts. So lazy, yet they're raising the prices a ton. Don't get me wrong - I love the s550 and had the privilege of ordering a 6spd 22' GT for myself very early last year. But when a new gen comes out, I expect to see a brand new car. This is just the New Edge version of the s550 lol

All the customization options but they still won't let me order a Tremec transmission in it. I refuse to buy another Mustang until they let me do that. I know the Dark Horse has the Tremec but I'm not going to spend that much money for the Dark Horse. Every GT manual should come with the Tremec.

Hi Robert. I was thinking the same and I want to look into maybe swapping in the Tremec in the aftermarket. That's going to add to the cost of course so I'd only do it for channel content. But may be worth looking into for you as well. It's a good transmission. I had it on the GT350 and it survived me the whole time I owned the car! :o)

I Recommend your rushing out and buying a Camaro before GM pulls the plug on the worst selling muscle car being manufactured . Looking at the boring interior with a square infotainment box and dated gauges Maybe That's the car for you or wait until it returns likely as an EV sedan likely with video screens similar to the C8. I've been a Mopar fan until seeing the new S650 Dark Horse My next new performance car will be a DarkHorse because Stellantis unlike Ford has turned their backs on it's ice performance customers. Thanks Ford for keeping the Ice V8 Mustang alive.

Patriot here, are you telling me the Camaro and Mustang are near the same price? Wow that is news cause at the moment the Camaros are 40,000 sheckels more than the Mustang here in Downunder. Have G.M. finally realised they are on a hiding to nothing, but they have all the good stuff. Like heads up display, and a better instrument cluster as you have noted. Also last time over in the U.S. the Camaro had better seats. But hey have the Stang, happy with that. But as they race them both, now in the Supercars here, if G.M. want sales$$$ tell us the price son. Ford = B Camaro = B + But will it make any difference probably not!

I’m not a fan of the outside of this new generation yet. I did see some GT 500 wrapped up looking real good. But to me the s650 looks like a bad E Bay kit got thrown on the S550. The rear end look hideous and the front grill looks horrible. The interior I like the tech but the screens look cheap like the explore ST Has. After owning the ST the cheap IPad screen is really out of place.

But I think Charlie was thinking because most of the controls are on the screen now (vs. analogue controls you can feel), your eyes are going to be off the road more with this screen. Either way, I wish they'd integrated it with a better flow. But it does seem to be the trend to put huge screens up (like M2 and M3 for example, which also look bad IMHO).

Horrible. I have a 2013 gt and honestly like the s550 interior as well. Keep the interior flowing, make it attractive, functional and an attempt to pay tribute to the classic mustang styling cues. This is awful. Even if I liked giant screens instead of real gauges, this is uglier than sin. All I can see is the close resemblance to a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire interior. More than one person needs to be fired over this.

Generation Z focused for sure, a little too ridiculous with the pinball machine interior, the drift handle is just ghaaay.. probably driving my last Mustang because it's turned into a sophomoric vehicle, and zero interest in the experimental name of Dark Horse, every year it gets worse and worse what Ford is doing to the Mustang starting with the Mach E, I promise I'm never going to pay $75,000 for a dark horse, neither will anybody in Generation Z Ford.
