2024 Mustang S650 Engine tick after oil change?

I’m not sure if it’s all the new mustangs that develop a tick immediately after your first oil change. I’m wondering if the motorcraft 5w50 oil helped out with having no ticking. The engine sounds clean and smooth as it should. I’ve changed the oil at 44xx for the first change anticipating the whipple install being done next weekend. I’ll show more reviews on the s650 after next week once the supercharger is installed.

It is ok, my engine ran a few days with no oil, so it ticks after that permanently...have driven it over 4 hours 1 way a few times since then and it still has still been reliable with that tick. It has an oil leak and I did not notice because my car is so cheap it does not have an oil pressure or oil temp gauge...not even a tach either. It is a 5 speed manual 1998 Nissan Sentra.

Here in Australia we use 5W30 oils for the Mustang 😮😊

You need 5w50 for the whipple 😅

Very nice.. I am digging the red.. I have a Lighting Blue 17 with very low miles. I keep as a weekend car.. I love my GT good luck.. I may do a Whipple on mine one day IDK yet.. But anyway good luck and have fun..

Wish I could afford one...would get a base, no option, manual of course...the auto is an option so saying no option should be clear, but some people might not view that as an option

Yes this is the auto and they charge for it. Also got the premium package and active exhaust. It comes to like 50k with options. Really happy with it so far

Also if they are a reputable shop they would have done the oil for you but either way good luck and enjoy..
