Make sure you bring your bug spray to Socastee. I played here a couple of times while on vaction and holy sh!t the mosquitos were violent. I had to stay in motion the 1st round or I'd be swarmed by 10-20 mosquitos if I stopped moving. I pretty much ran the entire round. 2nd round was much more enjoyable once I brought the OFF with me. Other than that, Socastee was awesome. I'd be perfectly content with playing this as my home course.

I'll sometimes upside down putt when it is incredibly windy to keep the flight plate from sailing. Outside of that I cant explain why Freeman would do that on a routine day.
