the paint schemes are explainable for people familiar with nr2003 modding. it took a ton of work to reformat everything into whatever template NT2004 uses. what's insane to me is editing driver names in menus AND the ratings. EDIT: MRN too? forget it

Fun fact. I'm working on the 06 season mod at the moment and a complete overhaul of NASCAR 09 on PS2. Basically back porting Xbox 360 l paints and dlc paints with manufacturers to the PS2 version. All of the painters have a lot of new things in the pipeline stay tuned ;)

Would be practically impossible due to a few things like compression. The updated schemes actually run above what the PS2 was capable of.

It does, even race specific real race results can be set to affect the driver stats as Radman explained a bit. Qualifying is the only loose cannon a bit due to how it's coded in NT04, it's fairly random.

@@anemicroyalty8764 its possible, ive done it on the dolphin gamecube emulator with dirt to daytona for an HD texture pack. it was really just downloading the mod and moving it to the right folder. This seems like its much harder to do.
