How sad that the stands are so empty. I competed in artistic roller skating in the late '60's & again in the late '80's through ~1990. I attended Nationals in Philadelphia, PA, which I believe was in 1990. I was there, every day, for the entire week & the stands were packed. I also attended on the first day in 1969 in Hempstead, NY from early-morning compulsory figures through the entire day.
