Some really cool stuff there! I wasn't in York on Wednesday but I was told it was pretty chilly. The way the crowd's bundled up at the auction I can believe it!

How did the auction work? Did you bid on each 'table' of items? Or was each item it's own auction?

Good question. Tables were numbered just for tracking of items. Each train was it's own auction. When all of the trains sold on table 1 then table 2 was next. If you wanted to bid on a train from table 12 and they were on table 3 you had some time to grab a coffee. You had to sign up to get a auction bid number.
