Good show report. I learnt to drive in my Dads Wolseley Six. Lovely car. I was invited to show my Montego Turbo but it wasn't possible unfortunately.

I had a Wolseley Six Auto in my youth as a young Works Engineer at Longbridge. One of the cars I have enjoyed most. What a lovely car to learn to drive in. Thanks for watching the video, glad that you thought it was good!

A late friend restored the Austin 20/6 Mayfair limousine at 12.51, I rewired it and cut out manually the Austin Six script on the grille at 13.14 from a sheet of brass - took me several days !.

Roger, do you know the current owner? He lives in Redditch and I can probably put you in touch if you don't know Alan. It is a lovely car.

Thank you Anthony, Edward, Paul and Gar for your efforts and actually a nice informative narration to compliment the vehicles we were seeing. Would it be possible to show more of the Fords (many Dagenham/Harewood built) & Triumphs (I spotted a Dolomite) for next years show video?

Much appreciated and thanks for watching, Dom! Will do our best to oblige next time, although of course it depends to some extent on what's at the show. Fair to say the cameras were mainly focussed on the personal preferences of the guy holding the camera at the time! 😋 We only had two cameras at this show and with it being such a huge show with multiple halls to cover, we could really do with another (or even two more) camera persons next time.

The Chinese MG simply does not belong there. Nothing in common with anything built in the UK except a badge.

Hi @johnturnbull8179 and thanks for watching. Hope you found something to enjoy in our video.

The MG Car Club accepts members with British and Chinese MGs. There is very little in common between the 1930's MGs and the 1960's cars and the 1960s cars and the 1980s cars other then the badge but MG Motor UK support the MG Car Club to a certain extent which helps to keep MG in the public eye. I get the impression that quite a few buy MGs not realising that they were made in China. Thanks for watching the video, I hope that you enjoyed it (other than the MG Cyberster!).

I think its fair to assume the MG brand would have gone into the bin of history along with Riley, Wolseley and the rest were it not for the Chinese, who have done nothing but invest heavily in the business and build cars that today's car buyers want to own. I do get the patriotic angle, but the failure of the Rover Group was not the fault of anyone but ourselves (the British).
