let me give you a reality check of this video which shows loan options by IDFC bank. Bank gives 6.75% (flat interest rate) & 15%(approx)(floating interest rate). 6.75% doesn't play role here are you will have to pay around 15% rate of interest approx. secondly bank will charge around 4-5% processing fee when loan is disbursed. Also you cannot payoff your loan within 6 months period. and if you want to end your loan after 6 months, then you need to pay 5% of your loan principal. Moreover bank will also try to cross-sell multiple insurance products to cover your loan, which they will say is compulsory to buy, but trust me you need not to buy all those products as its your choice if you want to buy them or not. In end you just want to know whether you want to spend that much extra in your loans or not...as there are multiple banks who are not going for pre closure fees, you can pay all your loan amount in 1 day and you will only be charged interest for that one day only. choice is yours.
