With the standard 21-inch wheels, the ride feels firmer and road noise is more noticeable, but it's far from intolerable.

Would you have this over an ID7 GTX?

If you only look at the price, I would say the Tavascan, as it is €5000 cheaper in the Netherlands than the ID7 GTX. In terms of specs, the ID7 scores slightly better. Looks, of course, are a personal thing, but I find the ID7 more attractive. However, the reason I would choose the ID7 over the Tavascan is its potential for Vehicle-to-Grid and Vehicle-to-Home capabilities. The ID7 doesn’t have it yet, but it has been announced that it will. Which one would you choose?

@@GDrives_NL Thanks for the insight. I'm based in the UK, and on salary sacrifice the ID7 GTX is about 7-8k more than the Tavascan. I've heard though the software versions on the ID7 is better and as a family car having two kids the ID7 is a bit more practical (also massage seats) , but from a value perspective, the Tavascan looks to be the better choice.

Expect real range of 350km (217ml) on highway.. you get nowhere close to those 500+ ranges :)

That's right, 500+ km is also WLTP. Real range depends on all kinds of factors. But you should be able to achieve 350 - 400 km.

In my opinion, without regen, the brakes are shit. You have to press the brakes hard to stop the car. I agree. It's a beauty 👌🏼
