I bought this exact XS model in Mystic pearl white, added the mud guards and boot tray. This car is absolutely beautiful and drives like a charm. I love my XS model and probably the coolest car i have ever owned.

Nice review. I bought a brand new Starlet hatch 1.5xi in July and I'm very happy with it, best buy in my life and probably the last because I'm now on pension. Would have been nice to have a Cross, but the hatch was the most I could afford and it's just me and my wife using it so I'm more than happy. Does the Cross have much more interior space than the hatch? Is it much more comfortable? Probably so if you have 5 adults inside? It sounds like the boot space of the Cross is actually less than that of the hatch?

Thanks for the detailed comment. I’m very happy that you have bought yourself a Starlet hatch because you’re satisfied with it. The Cross is actually not so big in the interior, just slightly bigger than the hatch. I think the most noticeable difference is the ground clearance in a way that you sit a bit higher but in terms of space it’s not so big. Comfort, absolutely the Cross is more comfortable. Five adults can fit in there but depending on their sizes at the rear seats because the middle seat is just Ohk, not bad at all. And yes the boot space of the hatch is slightly bigger than that of the cross
