@33:35 I used to go to that video game/arcade store all the time when I was a kid. They had all kinds of arcade games like The Simpsons, Street Fighters, racing, Pac Man, ArKanoid and they even have a live chicken in one of the booths. Those were good memories. But now they turned it into one of those boring modern Chuck e Cheese types of arcade places.

因为春节来源于中国。还有朝鲜韩国是中国附属国。1895年甲午战争中国满清朝廷战败日本。所以割让承认了朝鲜独立。然后朝鲜韩国才变成日本 控制。一直到1945年二战日本战败。朝鲜韩国才重新独立

However, since they were lax in holding the precepts, they have fallen into the animal realm. There are different varieties of dragons, such as gold, white, blue, and black dragons. Some dragons are born from embryos, some from eggs, some from moisture, and others by transformation. There are also two-horned young dragons, eagle dragons, single-horned dragons, black dragons, celestial dragons, earthly dragons, imperial dragons, human dragons, fish-transformed dragons, horse-transformed dragons, elephant-transformed dragons, and toad-transformed dragons. yawn this boring. Back in the day, Chinatown was a literal *WAR ZONE* and CNY was EXCITING as fk. Firecrackers, M80s, cherry bombs and rockets everywhere. The noise was deafening. The roar of firecrackers on the morning of New Year was like gunfire in Beirut. You could hear the craziness from as far away as Avenue B. One side of Mott versus the other side of Mott. Pell versus Doyer. It is the sound of the firecrackers and the ground covered in red paper that is meant to scare away the mythical beast "Nian" or "Neen" - a homophone for "year" in Toisanese or Cantonese. We would hold them in the hand, lighting everything with either a stick of incense or a cigarette and chuck it at people's feet lol. When an M80 exploded you felt every bit of that shockwave hit your body. The lion dancers weren't afraid to dance among the explosions at their feet. They did genuine acrobatics on stilts. Stores and local tongs hung long chains of firecrackers that were almost a mile long that went on for an eternity. The dancers braved all this and climbed up poles to get their lei si. Now it's all weak party poppers that barely register higher than a standard fart and everything is all Disney-fied. Good God.
