Locktite Red on the threads of a shift knob? Was Nissan thinking that nobody would ever be needing to remove the thing? I just put the Z1 two-piece aluminum hat rotors, along with some G-loc(GS-1) pads, on the front and rear of my 370Z. I love how much more responsive the suspension is now. I had replaced the OEM Rays forged aluminum 19" wheels with a set of forged magnesium monoblock wheels from Litespeed Racing in LA and immediately noticed the improvement in handling. With all the unsprung rotational mass that I've removed: wheels, rotors, aluminum lugnuts and lightweight Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, the cars braking, acceleration and handling are significantly improved. The combination also looks very good on my all-black Z, giving it the look of a stealthy predator. Seb did the tune on the Stillen Gen 3 long-tube intake and Fast Intentions TDX x-pipe cat back that was installed at Fast Intentions. I'm estimating that I'm probably getting crankshaft peak horsepower levels in the low 380 range, with torque scaled up by about 15% over the whole rev range. Even going from the OEM 275 rear tires to 285 width, the increased torque can still break traction if I lean on the throttle too hard. In conclusion: all these mods were totally worth it with Seb and the guys at Fast Intentions doing a superb job on my car - thanks again.

Is there a way to keep the AC? And how much would a swap like this cost if one does it by himself?
@aaronwlkrКүн бұрын
Ls swap? Lots of factors. You can use a $500 junkyard 4.8 or a $10,000 LS3 crate motor. If you make the brackets, you can save a ton of money, lots of people buy the LOJ kit which adds thousands to the cost. Yes you can add a/c, it just depends on what all you want, what trans you want to use, how much you paid for the engine, what you are going to do about wiring and so on. I'd say realistic is like $6,000+ but figure about 10k, however it could easily be 20k too if you use a crate motor

The flickering can't be seen with the naked eye, just when it's on video.
