But I also think Roberts didn’t necessarily want to have Honeywell eat so many innings, since if he hadn’t then he would have had to start using up even more bullpen arms. And while Banda did pitch, he only threw 2, instead of having to pitch a full inning like he would have if flaherty didn’t finish the 3rd.

Once again Dave Roberts is over managing the whole game, changing the batting order everyday if a guy gets a hit or two he gets moved up in the lineup letting a starter whether it's Flaherty or Knack or Buehler he leaves them in until they give up 4 or 5 runs. Game 6 is not a give me and Arizona came back to win the last two games on the road last year and schooled the Phillies so it can happen. The entire team’s Body language was weak today, except for Pages. Mookie was slowly trotting after balls hit his way, Freddie was striking out and showed zero intensity, Teoscar was swinging at balls off the plate every at bat and Smith has completely disappeared. Yeah, again he’s always trys to be so strategic all the time. You’re trying to close it out not force a game 6. JF should have been out sooner. Its like he’s always thinking ahead instead of trying to put the dagger in teams NOW!!!. The optionality is never nessasary when your trying to close out the series. Bullpen should have been deployed this game!!!!!
