2024 NYOA Round 1 Dream Riders 1187 Pete Sturdevant

First race in Vet B and it was a humbling experience. Got a great start but tried running too fast early on and burnt myself out. Got done with 3 laps and didn't have enough energy left to battle out a 4th one. Overall a great start to the season. Looking forward to the rest of the races with this group.

Welcome to getting older. The tracks come apart, you have to save something for the last lap when both you and the track are going to be at their worst. Riding a bicycle, stairmaster and jogging all help. See you Sunday, #1327.
