It’s just all so infuriating brother. We have the heart, the skill, the ability. We should be top 6 at the least. It feels as though eveything that could go wrong has gone wrong, of course you are critical of our lack of goal kickers but I don’t actually know if clubs normally have 6+ good kickers, I mean channel is by my count kicker 6 or 7! I mean bloody hell the volume and scale of our injuries is insane, we can’t get a bloody team that trains together consistently. I do not envy webby’s job, every week he picks a new team, every week the hindsight backseat coaches have a go at him for it. We are due some very good luck next year. Keep the faith, we had a raw deal

Given our injury rate, I would have at least 6 guys ready to kick. It’s one of the big issues that have cost us this year. I reckon it would be easier to have guys kicking goals well vs sorting the mental strength that also cost us

great discussion as always. SENZ had an interesting poddie reflecting on wah's season. Upshot was edge defense is the main reason we have sucked. Focus on attack is misplaced - we have actually scored enough points to win most games. but our defense is awful compared to last year. And that's mainly edge defense. SENZ put it down to the combinations constantly changing this year, compared to the relatively stability of last year. Most obvious example of bad edge defense was in the Roosters game but every game there are examples.

I was screaming and getting really animated during the game like never before. However i was incredibly calm after the loss as I somehow knew we couldn't win with a drop kick anyway so was resigned to the loss once it went to GP. So used to it. Ali and Sifukuka looked really good. Not sure how Ali dropped the ball though given the situation of the game. Whenever though i think the young players look amazing they get dropped so they must be doing something wrong that i cannot see. Another close loss to Manly would be a good bet😂

Agree re kickers but why aren’t they consulting some of the top union kicking coaches? Maybe they are but it doesn’t like it. Errors have killed us. I like that Webby is about consistency with selection and doesn’t give away jerseys, but is there a possibility this might breed a little complacency? Some may not be threatened by others replacing them. Just a thought around picking on form once we have the machine working ok. Yes, I’ve said it before we need and X factor back. No that won’t win us a premiership on its own but X factor has won a lot of games for a lot of teams and with such a tight comp has been the difference for some teams in many cases.

Mistakes and stupid errors lead to dolphins tries in this game, plus we saw in the first 20 minutes we had the dolphins on their own line and the warriors were putting pressure on them only to not get any reward from doing poor last tackle options. Which has been the story of the season really there have been games where we have looked the better team in the 20 minutes of games then dropped off.

@@dominic1956 Nikorima is a solid build though.Given CNK's display at five eight against Panthers I think he should be given the spot for at least two of these last three games . Who knows he could really suit the position thus freeing up FB for either Tuapiki or RTS.If he doesn't look like he is a five eight nothing is really lost as the season is done anyway.

Somehow the Warriors need to find a half that can threaten the defence like a Cleary or Hughes tuff little buggers that aren’t scared to have a dig , at the moment the half’s are trying to finesse runners through holes which worked last season but this season other teams are reading us like a book hence so much dropped ball any way let’s gone Warriors

We have leaked 20+ points for last six games = you not going to go far in the NRL with "D" like that no matter how good the other Stats are.I am a firm believer stats can be and often are used to cover other deficiencies.The only stat that really matters is the final score. Not sure if you can have a Captains Challenge for offside as I can't recall one. Good half backs want the ball in late tight clutch moments when the game is on the line while others go MIA. O'Sullivan showed backbone after Bennett's master stroke sending a fresh play maker out very late in the game obviously with the instruction to "have a go" . Oh well all I want is a win over Dogs to send SJ out a winner in his last game at Mnt Smart whatever else happens doesn't really matter now.Would be nice to see Webster try a few different things with an eye on next season but I think very unlikely to happen. UP DA WAHS - bring on 2025.

Appreciate that. They were partly for me back in the day, it was a good way to prep so I wasn’t nervous when trying to maintain the flow. Feel fine without them now… and given how much they don’t reflect the outcomes this year… they can go by the wayside going forward. Appreciate the feedback and ongoing support 🙏🏻
