It’s all about that confidence brother I truley believe that if we stuck it out with that storm game at the start of the year we would be in the finals because of the confidence it would have given us I hope that this win gives the boys some crazy confidence going into the break You can see how deadly that right side was, you can see how crazy it would have been if we didn’t have those injuries I have never been more excited for next year, UTW

CapeWah was a beast! The difference being, he isn't carrying injuries. He was this good at the beginning of the season, so I am glad he's showing his actual skills now. Agree with you on DWalks. His leadership was what the boys needed. Love Jazz❤

@@joskempbaker831 absolutely agree brother, he’ll hopefully come into his own next season if he stays healthy and learns the warriors ways. You don’t play state of Origin if your a mug.

Yeah the longest 7 months you’ll have is an NRL off season 🤣 can’t wait until we start seeing the preseason photos start coming out. They get me hyped for the new season

Thank you for all the hard work and uploads throughout the season. I listened to every video, liked most and commented when I had an opinion. I think we'll miss AFB a lot next year, he looked happy and sad at the end of the last game I think he'll miss the boys. We'll have to swivel and aim for a more mobile pack rather than one out hitups that we always try to bully other packs with. Tohu will tighten the defense and talk sense to the refs.

Strange but very entertaining game with a finish to add to the many previous great memories SJ has given us however overall 2024 is yet another season to forget. Not a lot to take out of the game other then Tuapiki is a vastly different FB option to either CNK or RTS. I doubt it will happen but if (hopefully) Webster goes for a freer type game like the 2nd half Tuapiki could get the FB spot next year. Metcalf is a very classy player . I think like Turbo he has developed a running style to help protect his hammies. Lussick was kept on for ages after Egan replaced him at dummy half which was strange but I guess there was a reason for it. Hynes still has to learn how to control games and turn the tide when momentum goes against them. For me Rocco and Ali L are starting centers next year as they are the future but who knows. If Tuapiki and Metcalf can play in cup now they could win their comp. Very interesting in last weeks prematch interview Webster said he had made mistakes this year but has learnt a lot so who knows what changes 2025 may bring. Thanks Jacko Been a pleasure to have your contributions again in 2025. I’m definitely on team Taine at fullback. RTS is probably better now but how many more years can you get out of him? Taine has 5-6 years left in him so why not give him a chance to develop? He has the skills and ability. If not 1 then I’d like to see him at 6. I’m really curious to see what changes Webby makes to the game plan in 2025. Both attack and D

@@thewarriorholic Yea 2025 will be very interesting. Hopefully we slowly start rejuvenating the side looking to be real premiership material in 4 to 5 years with younger players rather than signing older ones like RTS / Capewell in the quest for earlier success (it ain't happening). Webster seems a conservative type so major change is unlikely but as Bennet showed last week with Dolphins a real shakeup can work wonders. We all forget to thank owner Robbo who has spent god knows how much time and money keeping the club afloat over covid and now rebuilding from the bottom up..Without him we would not have the pathways system etc or be in the strong overall position we are now .

@@jackohere1878 yeah that’s a great call on Robbo. People would be blown away if they know how much he’s invested in the club, I’ll always be thankful to him for that. He’s giving the club everything we need to be successful now it’s up to Webby and his team to make it happen. I’m a firm believer in having a group of older experienced players in there with a true professional attitude to set the standard for the young guys. We have the talent coming through, now the key is to identify the ones with the right mental attributes to be successful, not just the size and skill. We will see guys move on that don’t seem to make sense but a lot of times it will be because they don’t have that mental strength needed to play injured and willingly take themselves into dark places most humans would run from.

@@thewarriorholic yea fair point about older experience but just because a player is older doesn;t always mean he has the right attitude or motivation to help youngsters not just be "matey" at training etc as some of our older have been in the past. JFH certainly seems the no BS type to help youngsters develop / stay on course etc and he seems genuinely keen to take on the role.I really believe he can change the "culture" from the last 12 months quite quickly. We certainly should identify "must keep" youngsters like Crosby / Pasikala and lock them in for at least 2 or 3 years .If we lose a few who may or may not make good first graders so be it.

Thanks for your analysis this year, I've enjoyed listening to it. It's been the season of "what ifs' considering all those games we couldn't quite ice. Oh well, heaps to look forward to next year with these young guys coming through. I was at the Newtown v Warriors last week at Henson Park. Awesome atmosphere down there. Mainly grass banks and about 9 thousand turned up so it was bloody good. Will head over to Leichardt this Saturday to watch em v the Panthers in what is a knock out. Shout out to Kurt Capewell. Wasn't a fan for the first 3/4 of the year but since Origin he's won me over. I hope Webby can find a place for Tuapiki in the side next season. He has a wise head on his shoulders and we could use his goal kicking skills, especially if Pompey isn't there. Could you see him in the 6 jersey? A backline of 1 RTS 2 DWZ 3 Leiataua 4 CNK 5 Montoya/? 6 Tuapiki & Metcalf might go pretty good. With a re energized pack lead by Barnett and JFH plus young guns like Sifikula and Halasima coming through, it all bodes well.

Cheers mate. Appreciate your contribution as always. I wouldn’t mind seeing Taine get a shot at 6 with Luke. He has a quality kicking game and all the skills. Just the size tackling in the front line might be tough. It’s tough with CNK, I love him so much for his work and his values but I’m not sure he is the best player in any position right now. I wonder if he could become a 17 playing in the middle and covering the backs? Would be a great playing to bring on against a tired pack

That's a great call on CNK at 17. He covers so many backline positions and could do a job as a edge forward in an emergency. I like it. Better than chucking Freddy in as a middle forward that's for sure

Yeah I think he can but I wouldn’t do it, we have so much talent coming through that is NRL ready, I love CNK but I wouldn’t want to block there progression by making CNK a center for another 2 years or so.
