The 30 X 3 macro counting works because it keeps you full and it sort of is counting calories each gram of both carbs and protein is 4 calories per gram and fat is 9, I think fiber is 2 but don’t quote on that. When you just track the protein you are getting a good chunk of calories from your protein and it’s only possible to eat so much per meal so you get a reasonable amount of calories from whatever else you are having with the protein and it evens out at the end of the day. So glad that’s working for you 👏🏾👏🏾 I tried the ready made Fairlife because everybody raves about them and they ARE good but I can’t afford to buy often paying out of pocket for ZB. I get them sometimes at Target with my employee discount 😂 I work there PT one day a week.

Love your videos! We are pretty much Zepbound twins. I started 9 months ago. Down 47 lbs. from 207 to 160 today! 5'3. 44 years old. Mom of 5 boys. I do feel like in my case I need to work very hard together with the medication to lose weight which I'm fine with mostly. I just see people all the time that let the medication do all the work and are losing so much faster. I track my protein, sugar, and calories. I intermittent fast, drink tons of water. And I workout a ton. Running, Peleton, weights, Pilates.

@@Nina-ny2is yes that is a lot of work. The good part is that you will have made many life changes that will stick. Not everyone can say that. Congratulations and keep up the great work

🎉 Congrats on the success!🎉 I can relate to the buying all the things 😂 Trying one thing at a time is the best route. I have found my tastes have changed. Some of the new snacks I tried in the beginning, I now only have once in a while. I don’t even really snack. 😂 Best advice!

I think there is more than one or two of us that are hoping you are ok if a video does not get posted. You are correct that is is only support and not judgement.

Great wrap up and great job navigating 2024. BTW, your BMI *IS* your weight (it’s a calculation based solely on your height and weight). If you’re 5’2”, your weight needs to be 136 to be at a “normal” BMI. Since I’m 5’4”, I would need to get down to 145. Not sure that’s gonna happen, but… 🤷♀️ 🌞 Here’s to a fantastic 2025! 🌞

I just found your channel. Any tips and progress from you will help us all using the GLP1. Were you aware you weren't looking at the camera (or us), but somewhere else?

Chike Protein Coffee is SO good; In Mocha w/splash of creamer and the required ounces of water or for me coconut milk; no ice b/c its cold out; then I add 1/2 packet of LMNT electrolyte in Chocolate Salt. LET me tell you SO good!!!!!!!!

Fruit, pickles, and popcorn are my binge items I try to stick to. I can only do so much damage with those. So I always keep them in the house. Doctors and insurance companies seem to love BMI. But I don’t really pay much attention to it. I’m a 5’10” guy so my ideal weight on the BMI charts is around 165lbs. But I think that would be too low for me. 185 is my goal, but honestly I’d be thrilled with anything under 200.

Will you have to take this medication for the rest of your life? If not how do you keep from gaining the weight back?
