I drive the 2022 basic model and I love it! The interior is great though! Simple and sleek! The price point for the newer models is just too much but if someone want it for the driving experience, I'd say go for it

The price is unreasonably high compared to what other companies are offering. If the pricing were more competitive, the car could be a strong contender in its segment; however, as it stands, it is a disappointment. Good one Masebe, keep pushing!

When you talking about the older Corsa, you remind me of the Corsa my parents had. We had the Corsa Lite two door about 10 years ago and there’s no car my sister hates like that car😹 all because you had to fold the seat to get to the back. It has come a long way since then. I still wouldn’t but it for R460 000. A Renault Clio calls my name!

I feel like they are trying to justify the price on the name plate but forgetting Corsa is no longer on the fore front when it comes to unit sales, so no for R460k? not a chance. Yes Polo`s are a dime a dozen and are high risk but if they want to take the fight to VW, they must underprice and definitely update the interior (two tone and better graphics on the infotainment). Other that that, its a great package but needs to lose some weight on that price. Thanks again for a great review❤

For more or less the same price range . R400k - R500k I would go for a Suzuki Swift Sport Manual . It weighs less than a ton and it pushes out 103 kw ( not that power matters to me that much ) . It has a better warranty than most cars and probably the most reliable long term . Another alternative would be a low mileage Ford Fiesta ST200 .

In there is a 2021 EU engine of the year. "You'd be happy driving this car", this is the essence of buying a car. The size difference compared to Polo if you're in this segment won't rock your world. Verdict, if one likes this GS one should consider 208 Allure trim (drive wise).

The only thing nice about it is the engine. The move to ST from GM killed the German vibe it had towards the people because they can't do anything on their own anymore. The popularity they had should have pushed them to establish a plant here but they dropped the ball.
