In the future would you be able to put a graphic when you make a ball change and which ball you switch too? Could help some when it comes to adjustments :) Good luck!!!

I’m 15, just watching Jason bowl is so inspiring to me as a bowler. I’m coming close to the end of my 3rd year bowling and I’m currently averaging 170, with a high game of 216. I’m really trying to improve and get better everyday. Whenever I’m seeking help I always watch one of Jason’s videos, his videos have helped me improve my game from a 120 average to my current 170!!! Thank you Jason Belmonte!

As a fan I have fun watching from my KZbin seat and enjoying your perspective on bowling. Like how you shared About texting with the kids. As much as you make those bowling moves to strike now you’re going to see the dynamics of being a father as they grow and you grow as a father. No matter what the weird world we live in now says, they need you as a father. Cling to every text/conversation you have with them because they do more than you know.

@RayJacksonbighmw Жыл бұрын
+/- is a number above a 200 average, in other words if you bowl a 225 game or you average 225, you would be +25 (a.k.a. 25 over) for that moment, if you bowled or averaged 180, you would be -20 (a.k.a. 20-under) for that moment. Over/under is a 200 average in which is considered par (level) by PBA/USBC standards. In 1996 in league play I bowled +6 for my three game session (a 606 series) meaning 6 over a 200 average (my series was a 204, a 200, and a 202) in which is a 202 average but In combined pins was +6 for the week.

not being able to see his approach or even half of the ball motion down the lane in the majority of shots is absolutely excruciating as a bowler, a student of the game, and a belmo fan. i can't learn anything without seeing the full shot from approach to strike. i understand you have to take hours and hours of footage and turn it into something palatable to the average viewer and/or non-bowler, but holy moly at least throw one full approach in for each game you're covering. the video's already 20 minutes long, adding an extra couple of seconds here and there isn't going to change anything with your potential viewership or engagement. maybe make a patreon with longer cuts? love to watch you bowl and i'll be following you in the score sheets every step of the way! good luck this year, time to set some more records.

Hey Belmo I call you the LUCKIEST bowler ever to hit the lanes because of all the huge messengers you get. sounds like you are having Hot Flashes in Australia 90 degree & COLD flashes here in THE USA of negative degree temps. here's what I believe to be TRUE in Bowling #1.wiping your ball off of oil does NOTHING to the game because: once your ball touches the lane its in oil, the first rev puts oil all the way around the ball way before it gets to the oil line that is for short pattern of 35 feet of oil this means ( ALL bowling balls are 8.5 inches across or about 18" around the ball that is for the short pattern of 35 feet of oil your ball has to spin or rev 23 times this means it coats the ball 23 times with oil before it gets out of the short oil pattern & even more on the 45 foot long oil pattern so why would ANYONE wipe there ball off of oil??? #2. shoe slide is NOT need either (I now bowl in my tennis shoes & STOP at the foul line so I never have issues with stopping as with all bowling shoes) #3. why in the hell would ANY bowler slide on the opposite foot or even have your opposite foot out in front at the foul line?? (I say have the foot out that you throw with. this means have your same foot out at the foul line as the same hand you throw with. right hand throw, right hand slide or in my case stop because I wear tennis shoes bowling! I was born the same year the PBA was created in 1958. I was born on 6-19-1958 I amy today 65 & a half years old/young! I bowled 3,550 games this summer from may 6th to Aug 18 2024 because its free bowling in the summer if your on a team at the ally. to me bowling in by far the WEAKEST sport as far as physically. to me bowling is NOT that physical. I bowled 50 games every day in the summer that's for 5 days a week because they are not open 2 days a week in the summer. I bowled 102 straight games as my high games in a row but always 50 games or more daily. on league I bowled 50 games before my league started. when I say you ARE the luckiest bowler I don't mean it in a bad way I am a fan of yours Belmo! I have been back to bowling since summer of 2021 ALL my open bowling games are on Rumble dot com. I am the Brooklyn Crusher! you can go to Rumble dot com then do a search for The Brooklyn Crusher or FunBallBowler. since I have been back bowling as of summer 2021 I was throwing 10lb plastic & old urethane balls until the end of summer 2023. up until the end of summer 2023 I could only achieve about a 165 avg throwing the plastic & the old urethane 10lb balls straight for the strike ball. I kept changing things if they did not work for a few months until I ended up throwing right hand & having my right foot in front to stop at the foul line with tennis shoes. my high game so far this way throwing the hook ball is a 279. my high avg is a 190 this way. NEVER wiping my ball, never sliding & NEVER having my opposite foot out in front at the foul. also I have 12lb balls I throw now. the exotic gem by Retro Grip for the hook ball & the mix by storm urethane straight ball for the pick up ball 2 of both balls drilled the same fingertip grip with inserts! I would LOVE to hear your opinion on what I might want to change to get my avg higher? you can't say EVERYTHING heheheheheheHA! check out my over 206 marathon bowling videos. the 102 straight games was my best games. oh yeah when I open bowl I bowled in NO-TAP9 until at the end of summer 2023 then I went to NO-TAP7 so I could practice my strike ball more! ALL my open bowling games are on Rumble dot com. search FunBallBowler or The Brooklyn Crusher I have over 206 marathon videos. I say its a marathon video if it has more then 15 games on it.

IQ78. I question the marketing that went into choosing this name for a product.
@JoshuaDowdUSBC Жыл бұрын
Well it has the core of all the IQ bowling balls and the 78U shows that it has a hardness rating of 78 which means that it can be in PBA tournaments. The U means that the ball is urethane. Overall it seems like a good naming system because it tells you everything you need to know about the ball
@anonymousmouse237 Жыл бұрын
@@JoshuaDowdUSBC I can't believe someone is defending this ball's name in what appears to be complete seriousness. I know that it refers to hardness but to put 78 in front of a product called the IQ is a(somewhat amusing) blunder in my opinion. Unless they wanted to signal that the ball would, shall we say, perform disappointingly. It's difficult to believe the implications of such a name could possibly have been overlooked by Storm, it's meme worthy.
