Had a big tramily today. Rivers are raging more than when RR went through earlier. It was smart to look for alternate crossings for sure.

You said it! Magical! You now officially have the Sierra bug. It will be forever imbedded in your soul! 😊. You will have to check out the South Lake area out of Bishop in fall sometime -early October-you will be wowed beyond belief by the fall colors 🎉

As a Sierra hiker, I''m sorry you had to miss some of the most exquisite terrain in Kings Canyon due to that reroute. But you clearly are as enamored of the area as I am.
