It's good to hear this because people need to know that hiking that trail is not all flowers and birds. From my perspective, this is an amazing feat of strength and courage. Keep at it! Oregon is beautiful. I love "log crossings" ! Someday I want to visit that lassen area and see some of the lave tubes.

Sierra granite is also igneous rock, just a bit slower cooled, to allow more crystallization to occur.

Thank you so much for your words support and encouragement! It’s awesome that you’re enjoying the videos. I do (btw) carry a Garmin in reach satellite communicator to handle emergencies on trail. The device utilizes Iridium satellites as its means of signal.
