I did that section from crater lake to pederson trail head last year. Trail maintenance was mapping all those blow downs back then. That 19 mile water carry wasnt as bad as i thought but the trail leading up to devils peak was like walking on a rocky river bed.

Tent is very nice but too much. Bivy is more my style, even with the mosquitoes. Been using the bivy since Chester and I’m super happy I made the change!
