Hart of the YUKON - 14 Days Solo Camping in the Yukon Wilderness - Special Episode:
You can still expect to see episode 6 of this adventire series going up this Thursday at 7pm ET. This special episode is a condenced version of the first six episodes of my solo Yukon adventure down the remote Hart River in the mighty Peel Watershed. So, (spoiler alert), it will give you a bit of a sneek peek on the full version of ep. 6.
This is a mid-season recap that will show you the best of this remote river so far, including the mountain scenery, wildlife such as caribou, moose and Dall’s Sheep, as well as the food I’ve cooked up - Arctic Grayling fishing, challanges and more.
Join me in this immersive adventure. Subscribe to my channel to catch new uploads of ‘Hart of the Yukon Solo' for more captivating episodes, where each stroke of the paddle delves deeper into the essence of true exploration.

How lucky people are to be able to experience this...ive always lived in South Georgia never been able to even go on vacation anywhere ..but ive always felt like the Northern Wilderness is where i am suppose to be or shouldve been past 34 years. .Not here where i am. i would be so much happier living somewhere like that but Im trapped here with work and not being able to afford the move .. almost feel like my life is wasting bc im not where i should be .. im sure im not the only one ever felt this way. I Just hope people who are able to live in such a beautiful place or even vacation there know how lucky they are. I doubt ill ever make it there but maybe. I was jus meant to roam and explore be in the real wild .

Well Jim, you did it, I cannot go 1 day without watching at least 1 of your videos, sometimes 2. I’m born and raised in South Florida and have always loved the outdoors. The adventures that you and sometimes Ted go on are absolutely epic. It also goes to show that we really don’t have to go far to enjoy an adventure ourselves. You have inspired 10’s of thousands of people into doing just that. Keep up the incredible work Jim, I know I speak for many when I say we love your channel and all of the incredible hard work, from doing the trip, the epic filming and the never ending editing. You are the absolute best outdoor adventure channel on YT, by far. Thanks Jim

Thank you for this , dear Shannon. Praying for all of you in this time. I just have a song come into my mind just now... "In His time, in His time, He makes all things beautiful, In His time. Lord, please show me every day, As You’re teaching me Your way, That you do just what You say in Your time. In Your time, in Your time, You make all things beautiful in Your time. Lord, my life to You I bring, With its winter and its spring, May I fathom everything in Your time..." Yes, in His time He makes all things new. We trust Him through the good times, and through the trials. It's when He takes us through the fires of life, that it refines us for His glory! ❤ Blessings 🙏 P.S. Hoping you received my card ? 😊

Watching that amazing footage it reminds me of what the Smokey Mountains must have looked like 2-300 million years ago. Crazy to think that via erosion, migrating animals, birds dropping seeds, how they went from the same type of giant rocky peaks to smooth topped and tree covered. I have watched your video where you were hiking through my back yard on your trip down South, and from this trip it makes me ponder how time changes everything. millions of years from now those same mountains you are filming will eventually do the same, rolling hills of vegetation, and forests atop those peaks, if only we had time machines to see the slow changing topography would certainly be a sight to see.

Very good video, I'm an adventure seeker and hiker myself, but this is just perfect after stressful day to take a warm drink, stretch your legs and watch your journey, hope others will find your video the same way :)

I enjoyed this. I’ve done lots of long-distance paddling. Mostly in kayaks in the central and southern US. My back issues don’t allow me to sit in a kayak or canoe for long periods anymore, so it’s nice to get to enjoy other people’s river trips.
