Top video guys. Yep: based on my training times I should’ve easily shaved 30 mins off my 2021 time. But, yeah nah, 30 mins slower, and even then just scraping in. The heat from Omeo was like a wall. Chapeau to anyone who got through it. 🧢

How many hours per week did you train in average and for how long?

Hi JulAlxAU - For Peak I probably averaged around 12-15hrs per week then up to 15-20hrs in January & early February. This included turning mid week commutes into 90 min training sessions. I don't have a rigid methodology, but I do like to do one 6hr+ ride per week at a minimum of 2000m for around 3-4 months before the big day 👍

I live local albury club rides and fallscreek and buffalo regularly seasons back . Never done the peaks a bit stingy paying given ride all these hills . Heat hit this region hard after a long cold wet . Credit to those who did it Sun in the afternoon is a killer
