I need multiple planners as well - I cannot get my head to work when all areas are in one - I can’t focus and see only what I want to see. I’ve gone with lots of hobonichi weeks, an A5 common planner and an A5 cousin too. It might seem excessive to some but I don’t spend in other areas that others do (like make up/ alcohol/ coffee etc) so I think do what works for you and makes you happy :) xxx

I need a multi-book system as well and divide things based on size and time. By size I mean annual goals & 12 week year projects are in one book. This filters down to my 2 weekly "forecast" planners (what I want/hope to do). These in turn filter into my daily timeblock planner which manages my schedule and tasks by the hour-ish. Nice planners you have there. TFS.

Love your VDS cover 😍. I will be in 3 planners and multiple journals next year. I like to keep different areas of my life, which makes it easier for me to find what I am looking for. I know the whole consumerism conversation has made its' ay back around in all communities and creators are pushing for people to shop their stash or only buy what they need vs being influenced by them (the creators), but I just do what works best for me, my life, and finances at the end of the day.

@mith1073 Of course! That is the Complete Nomad from Van der Spek. The only customization I made that added to the price was to add the chunky A4 clasp. I also made the secretarial pocket on the right a full height slip pocket instead and removed the TN strings. Neither of those changes affected the price. The outside leather is Écume Nubuck and the interior leather is JL Velvet Undyed. I opted not to add the back pocket and I explain how I’m getting around that in my newest video where I’m setting up my planner for 2024. I hope that helps!

I know this is an older video but as you know I religiously watch your videos . I came back to this one to see if I could find out how you care for your VDS as I just got two and I am so scared to stain them etc. I am babying these things and I don’t see you babying your planners ! I have the standard TN JANET velvet IN SAND AND AN a5 Janet velvet undyed . Any tips!?

Yes Kim! I hear and relate to the multiple planners and journals! I like keeping each area of my life separate too. I use some of the same as you: SI’s standard TN vertical; SI’s passport (the horizontal though); and the take a note, and the a few others as well. (Check out my 2024 countdown!) I got inspired to cut my Hobonichi from you (and Monique Smith). I am so excited to use the SI TN! I also love your cover collection! I am aiming for a VDS in 2024! 🎉❤ I also wanted to ask where you got your Apple Watch band? Love that too! 😄

Awesome! I’ll definitely check out your channel and your 2024 countdown! If you’re a planner lover and a leather lover, I highly recommend investing in a VDS cover. You won’t regret it! As for the watch band, I got it from Amazon.
