I love a standard size book 😍I was in the papertess last year and hopped in and out. I realized I love the size for journaling but for planning I like a bit more space and a bujo style. I'm not in love with tomoe river paper so I didn't go back into Paper Tess or Common Planner this year but I love watching the flip through.

Hey Kimberlee, I'm Kimberly! Nice to meet another fellow journaler and planner!! I appreciate the business analogies! I have about 12 planners and journals for 2025. Only 4 are new hires, and I retired my Passion Planner permanently! 2025 is my year for all things Tomoe River Paper! Thank you for sharing!

great set up Kimberlee. I am always on a fence setting up for the momth cuz I love doing them weekly but there are times i wished it was already set up. love the video and I thought you were speaking all clear and loud enough with the music playing in the background. Cant wait to see next month's set up.

@MartinMadeCo4 күн бұрын
Hi Laurie! I will usually wipe them off with a water wipe or just a damp paper towel.

i really like your explanation for the b6 daily. for my EDC i have the N1 Horizontal, I got a B6 daily, and I have an academic planner that is for work. i keep work and personal separate; as a teacher i need the work life balance. what bag do you use and what do you find yourself carrying most days when you go to work? thanks for sharing! ❤️
@MartinMadeCo8 күн бұрын
Separating definitely upholds that work/life balance! I probably collect bags *almost* as much as I collect planners. 🤣 I work from home mostly but when I do venture out, I've been reaching for my Longchamp Le Pliage in the large size. It's really lightweight and can hold the ton of books, necessities, and the laptop I bring along with me.

Love your set up!! Do you have a link for your transparent tape?
@MartinMadeCo8 күн бұрын
Unfortunately, I do not have a link. It was just transparent tape that came in a tape dispenser I bought many years ago. But I have been told that regular Scotch brand transparent tape works just the same, though I have yet to try it myself.

Your videos are great, but the music is incredibly distracting. can you please make videos without the annoying music thanks
@MartinMadeCo8 күн бұрын
I do appreciate your feedback. The easiest approach here might be for you to fix what bothers you - so you could turn down the volume and just follow along with the captions or choose another video since the majority of my videos don't include music throughout. That way, nothing annoys you unless you allow it to.

If you put your day of the week stamps on the side (edge) of your block it’s easier to lineup bc it’s narrower but also you can do four days at a time so it’s more efficient for stamping the month of weeklies 😉

Hi! I have this planner too. I use the monthly’s to make note of birthdays and anniversaries. I just look at the corresponding page at the beginning of the month to see who has a “special day” that month. With four kids and their spouses and nine grandkids the monthly pages come in handy for me.

I have sadly, yet amicably, parted ways with my happy planner/discbound system for my personal planner. I love hp/discs DOWN, but I had to move in a different direction. However, i will be sticking with hp for work! I moved on to the TAN planner, an outdated Jibun Techo Days for fun, and a notebook. ❤❤

I picked up the 2025 Sterling Ink N1 monthly and horizontal weekly booklets, the passport monthly booklet, and the N1 horizontal full year weekly planner for myself; my parents saw them and I ended up ordering them both the N1 monthly booklets. Lastly, I had to go back and order my Mom a monthly passport booklet calendar because she wanted to copy my passport setup. Once I receive the clear cover for my N1 full year, I should be finished ordering from Sterling Ink, unless my husband decides to get an A5 monthly booklet. ☺️

if you place the planners in covers anyway, does the color of notebook itself still matter? when you said the yellow of the A5 was not for you 😅 I howled.
@MartinMadeCo16 күн бұрын
It matters because I know what’s tucked inside…just kidding 😂 It’s not that big of a deal but most of the time I only have one side of the book tucked in so I do still see the cover. But like I said, it’s something I can get over 😆

OH MY GOODNESS!! 😳 Wait, are you saying we can have more than one planner? You mean I don't have to try to find ONE all-encompassing planner? 😲 I felt like such a failure for not being able to keep everything contained in a single book. Thank you for showing us your system; it's very inspiring! 🤩 So far, I have a Bible study planner, and I'm looking at designing a daily planner for tracking habits and for a bird's eye view of the days' and weeks' tasks. I'm also trying to figure out what I want to do for a knitting/crochet/sewing planner, too. Now that I know I don't have to cram all that into a single book, I feel so free to explore different planner styles now! And your comment about not always having it all together despite all the planners makes me feel better about suddenly struggling to make my planners work at random times throughout the year. 😅
@MartinMadeCo16 күн бұрын
I absolutely know I could not function having so many topics in 1 book. I tried to “frankenplan” a happy planner 5 or 6 years ago and it was a total fail 😆 It’s been separate planners for me ever since! It’s sounds like your 2025 planner & journal system is off to a great start

I bought this to try for my work planner this year. I see you have the iPad set up, too. Do you do any digital planners like on GoodNotes? That is my struggle. I love paper, but I also like digital planning.
@MartinMadeCo21 күн бұрын
I’m the same way. I’ve been dabbling in digital journals a bit this year. I do have a video on a digital reading journal that I set up. I also use Goodnotes on my iPad quite a lot for reading documents & PDFs, but I don’t think I could fully plan on it. I love paper planners a bit too much for that 😂 I do have plans to explore more digital journals in the near future, though.

For the weekly and monthly for your goals.. for selfcare you can choose the selfcare things you want to do weekly like; everything shower, face mask, nails, etc. And monthly you can put like massage or how many books you want to read for that month or how many days out of the week or month.. iust some thoughts!
