The short sleeve looks just perfect. Wear what styles you like and make you feel good. At 70 my styles have changed I knit what makes me feel good. You do a lot of knitting and the process you take is always informative.

I'm a spring and I would totally wear the colour of your Riley Tee. It may not be a standard spring colour, but it's nice and bright enough for me.

It's definitely bright! I think the 50% silk in the yarn really helps with that because it's shiny!

@@knitcalifornia That could be it! I am not a fan of silk, but I like Tencel as well, which also is rather shiny and cool to the touch. Really nice for summery knits.

Good morning Leslie, Your Riley Tee looks so soft and drapy! It turned out perfect. The fit looks really good! I like the fact that it is a light color (the camera may distort the true color) and will be a wardrobe stretcher for you. If your clothes feel good on you then you have fulfilled your knitting destiny! Finished projects are the best feeling! Stay cool now in the warmer weather. I have some Juniper Moon Farms Zooey Yarn for a 3/4 sleeve summer sweater and your vlog helped me move in that direction! Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Sleeves look great. It looks like it also moved some of the extra fabric, or it's being pulled more by your arm, 😅eliminating some of the extra fabric you were concerned about.

Oooh I totally get the short sleeve now that is see it on you - good for you for trusting your vision!
