This Cayenne is my 4th Cayenne and I have another 9 Porsches, mainly 911's. For the price of this Hybrid (mine Cost 155.000 €) this car's interior and ergonomics are a real shambles and utterly disappointing for what is supposed to be a GT car. Way too much cheap plastics, the steering wheel is like a Chinese made, cheap and ridiculous microsoft car simulator steering wheel. The controls behind the steering wheel are not visible, the gear lever is like a switch for a bread roaster and is not visible from the driving position and it is NOT lighted at night. The central, piano black console is not readable when the sun is shining on it, the ventilation is in the wrong place, the icons on the central screen are not intuituve, the steering wheel is not electrically adjustable, the door handles are the worst I have ever seen on a car, they are a cheap piece of plastic which is hollow and unfinished on the underside, the seat adjustment controls are just the cheapest and dullest they could find, a low end Skõda has fancier ones and I can go on forever. You have no eye for excellence, you just flip because you get the chance to get to ride a Porsche and forget to be critical. You drive an expensive 5 star priced car and on the inside you get to eat out of a plastic dish, with plastic cutlery and a cheap, plastic, paper cup. Congratulations Porsche. This car has broken the Porsche spirit and I am utterly disappointed and mad at the Porsche design team which made it totally unworthy of the Porsche spirit. The whole team should be fired and if they don't get it right this will be my last Cayenne ever. How in the world did they manage to screw it up so badly and cut corners which will prove catastrophic for future sales.

Turn off the lane departure warning was a simple push of a button on the previous model. Just because you can’t do something it doesn’t mean you should. That’s why I prefer buttons rather than a flat panel with multiple layers of menus.

The biggest disappointment of this new Porsche cayenne restyling is like you said that what made this suv different from the others premium choices was the little details in the interior, now every new updated Porsche interior looks the same which is both a good and bad thing. Sadly this is what made me choose a different car and that’s a real shame because otherwise it’s an excellent suv!

@@rahulmandala4930 yes, but Porsche new interior is getting disappointing, I understand that screen and touch things are cheaper but for the price I expect it to be excellent also at the inside, instead they choose a dumb switch over the classic lever that reminds me of some American pickups which is not what I would like in a 130/140k Porsche.

@@o_o-_-8639I wanted to write this comment as well. They saved money on digital screen and start button at the cost of brand identity. If you remove the clock and set another steering wheel - it will hardly be recognizable as Porsche anymore from the inside.

I'm curious to know how this compares to a Cayenne Turbo 958 generation. Sure, looking wise, this is 100x better but for €35-40k you can get an used one with: * Similar power (500 vs 470) * Similar suspensions: both air, both can be set on soft-med-hard * Same sound system (Burmeister) * Better brakes (Carbon ceramic)

Well, these brand new 100k+€ plug-in-hybrid cars are just designed to be good company assets/company car for CEO or very succesful self-employed people. Because in germany and most EU countries, having a hybrid is an absolutely huge tax advantage. This kinda car isnt really meant to be bought in cash, the depreciation will hit you a lot harder than just leasing it in a company and potentially buying it used 4-5 years later

If you want to test the exhaust sound, you have to test it on sport, but not on sport plus which maximum performance mode and it is less loud and with 0 burbles. I own Panamera and 911 turbos s so i know what i say.

Got the 2022 GTS pre-FL and actually even with the air suspension it’s not so super comfy :D Also having the same vibrations effect with the exhaust, but to be honest I kinda like it, especially that for me it happens only when stationary when the engine is still cold.

It’s my Fourth Porsche Cayenne (second Hybrid) I own 10 Porsches and we have had Porsches in the Family since 1962. The car in itself and roadwise it is still a Porsche and it is a good car. Where Porsche screwed it up Big Time is in the interior design. I don’t know if the reviewer ever owned a Cayenne but listening to his lack of comments on this totally ludicrous and cheap plastic interior offends me. The interior is an absolute disgrace. The Nespresso Coffee gear selector switch is invisible from the driving position and is NOT lighted at night……Also the operating handles on the steering wheel are totally invisible from the driving position and the steering wheel itself is a totally Cheapo type of microsoft PC thin plastic which is totally unworthy of such an expensive car. It’s a real shame. The door handles are absolutely totally unacceptable for a car if this price range. They are made of the cheapest plastic possible and they are not finished on the underside but HOLLOW is acceptable for a Lada but not for a 153.000 € Porsche. The rear bench is like a plank and my daughters 2013 VW beetle has better back seats…. Etc etc - I got an interior which is inferior to a low end Skoda. If Porsche carries on that way this will be, regretfully, my last Cayenne ever…

The limit warning does not need to be turned off every time, whereas the lane assist can be easily turned off on the tempomat lever at the steering wheel. I also do not agree with the comfort features being bad. Button, digital displays, passenger screen, that's all good and practical stuff. And only because BMW and co have a button to start the engine, Porsche should not go another way in order to just be different if these are good features. If someone wants an analogue car he'll by a GT3 or GT4 RS or similar. You can still choose with Porsche how much digital high-tech vs analogue passion you want.

Do you know that? Due to a technical problem, Porsche stopped fully the deliveries for the hybrid Cayenne since October and no date for restarting, even if you already paid the car Then Porsche will deliver on 2024 the cars produced on October 2023 Which is a huge loss for the owners. The cars will be considered the first day as having already one year
