I like lighter colors for a cottage. Designers seem to try all kinds of combinations for the prize homes. Yes, one can always paint it another color... Why not start off with an up beat color in the first place? Also, why are these homes not built with geothermal capabilities. So much for being environmentally friendly.

Some would live there full-time all year round as a house. You could sell it and get a small cabin. Could get a couple of tents in the woods Rent it out. Burn it down in a great fire. All up to the winner.
