Senior gradings and qualification.
We have had two amazing Dan grade achievements this past year. Firstly sensei Pieter received his fifth Dan before immigrating to Australia last year. Sensei Pieter also qualified to D instructor recently in Mandurah.
And then to our amazing senseI Karin who added to her achievements in Japan by receiving a lifetime commitment to JK Karate, and demonstration of superior skill, and being awarded her seventh Dan. This has made her one of only a handful of women in the world to achieve this rank and one of only two non-Japanese women to my knowledge.
