Thank you for posting this SJS!! This coming 2024-25 season will be the SJ Sharks’ 34th season. I’m 38 yrs old, born in 86. I’ve been a devout Sharks fan since day 1 at 5 yrs old for the Sharks 1st season 91-92. From Damphousse & Nolan, to Marleau & Thornton, to Hertl & Meier …. I think right now, July 4th 2024, is the most *exciting* time to be Sharks fan in their entire history. We have Celebrini (1st overall), Smith (4th), Eklund (7th), Musty (26th), Edstrom (32nd), Halttunen (36th), Chernyshov (33rd), Bordeleau (38th), Bystedt (27th), and guys like Zetterlund, (plus possibilities like Wallenius (53rd), Pohlkamp, Svoboda, Cam Lund (34th), Gushchin, Cardwell, Havelid), etc.. that projects to be at least 10 really good future hockey players out of 17 there… and on Defense: Dickinson (11th), Mukhamadullin (20th overall), Cagnoni (4th rd), and others. And, when our cup window comes, we can add 2-3 expensive free agents on top. Imagine adding Marner & Draisaitl (or similar) to those 10 forwards. PLUS we have the SJS 2025 1st rd pick, and the LVK 2025 1st rd pick. AND, right now I think we have 2 D men and 6 forwards we can trade for 1st-2nd-3rd rd picks in 2025 & 2026 (& beyond): Ferraro, Walman and forwards: Granlund, Toffoli, Wennberg, Sturm, Kostin, & maybe Couture. (Some have no-trade clauses, I know.. but MG is hella good at his job, he’ll get them to waive those clauses for the right team, and he’ll get assets in return) Mike Grier, coming up on his 3rd full season as GM for 2024-25, has basically been in “God mode,” since he started. I can’t think of one single mistake he’s made as GM, and he’s basically flawless so far in every aspect of his job. His trades are A to A+, his drafts & scouting are A+, his cap use is A+, his contracts are A+, his building through the draft and navigating older bad contracts has been A to A+, his hirings for coaches and bringing in former ex-shark players into the organization has been an A+ …. GMMG is absolutely killing it, and shows no signs of stopping or slowing down… in fact, if this is his FIRST 2 years as GM … imagine what the next 8 years will bring as he just gets better and better at his job that he’s already crushing at every single metric. I can see the Sharks competing for multiple cups, and maybe winning (🙏) their first ever Stanley Cup under Mike Grier in the next 6 years (6 yrs from now would be their 40th season. A fan since 5 yrs old on day 1, would be *ecstatic* to win a cup by age 45, 40 seasons into Sharks hockey!) (if they can win like, 1 cup 4 yrs from now in 2028, and another in 2030, their 40th season, mimicking the 2010-2012-2014 sf giants, that would be sweeeeeet.. and that’s kind of their projection right now) Lol, it’s been a long wait, we deserve it! The future is *TEAL* !!!

I love to see jumbo joe and Patrick working with these young boys, I was so sad when we moved on from Joe after 15 years. Those two are still my favorite players.

For a team based in Silicon Valley you would think they'd have access to much better technology than this 😂
@makudonarudokairu
@makudonarudokairu Ай бұрын
@@TIGERSandBRUINS It's at the Cuda arena / space, so they're using the AHL equipment which is garbage (including audio). Doesn't negate the fact that it's Silicon Valley and should have good gear even at the AHL level, but yeah it's not the Sharks setup.

Imagine Johnathan Toews, Nikita Kucherov and Miro Heiskanen as a starting lineup. Thats basically Celibrini, Will Smith and Sam Dickinson. Just gotta add a Sniper along side and the Sharks will be filthy

#68 Colton Roberts going hard after Celly NHL watch Smith/Musty NHL/AHL watch Collin Graf, Big Mack Celly & Filip Bystedt AHL watch Cagnoni, Pohlkamp, Haltunen, Brandon Svoboda, (2nd tier) AHL watch - Carson Wetsch, Gavin O’Connell tryout from Michigan State, Edstrom says he’s going back to the SHL but I’d love to keep him on the Cuda, Cam Lund as well as a guy named Donovan Houle looked decent too Absent: Shamuk in Russia, Jake Furlong recovering from surgery, Havelid (didn’t show well), neither did Chernokhov… need more Jr. time to ripen 🍅

are you kidding me? 1 turnover? He was great defensively and in transition the entire game, as well as on the cycle. He is very responsible so don't be worried about many mistakes from him.

He needs refinement but I would not be overly critical of a prospect scrimmage. He's going to be an absolute stud.

@wisewolftony
@wisewolftony Ай бұрын
@@Dustyy_nhl Not to mention this is basically no different to a all star game of past years when it comes to how they are playing. Sure the effort on defense is a bit better but your not getting hitting or any true level of forechecking. Reason the game was 8-7 and that is because these guys aren't legit competing like they would in an actual game. To be fair the one knock on Dickinson that I kept seeing pre and post draft scouting is his decision making on transition passing can be bad at times but he's still young and can easily clean that up. And even if he doesn't fully clean that up it would be no different than having EK65 and Burns on the ice who did the same type of stuff all the time the thing is Dickinson has much better defensive upside than either of them.
