Here in the desert where we see little snow...the dealerships order their vehicles equipped with SNOW PLOW PREP, why? Because people will just buy it not knowing they're paying for unnecessary add ons. Be careful, dealerships add order all kinds of options you don't need. My 3500 ram megacab 5 seat, Alpine sound, sunroof, 20 inch rims heated steering wheel and seats, powerfed seats, parking sensors, fog lights, wheel to wheel step bars, high amp alternator, 800W inverter, power folding heated mirrors, cameras, adjustable pedals...out the door at 52K.

Nice truck but the 6.4 is not in league with either the Ford 7.3/6.8, or the GM 6.6 gasoline V8s. All are more powerful, torquier, and more efficient. The “Everyman” is NOT going to justify the $10 k upgrade to the diesel which is a great engine but not cost effective for most drivers. Good test as always.

Ram is destroying their own brand, 76k for what used to be a tradesman? I’ll never buy a new Ram again, or at the very least I’ll buy a used 19-22 model. You get more accessories and even save a few bucks. Ford or GM for me moving forward, which is painful to say because I’ve owned 2 Cummins trucks and 1 6.4 Hemi, loved them all.
