i'm sorry for the loss of your grandma. it's never easy having to go thru the loss of a loved one. sending my condolences. 2024 in my experience was a mixed bag for me. early 2024 (and late 2023 for that matter) was awful for me, as i was strongly lacking a sense of purpose that sent down a deep depression to the point where i wanted to just end it. but as 2024 went on it progressively got better, since i finally got diagnosed, and medicated for major depressive disorder, and had also learned that i have ADHD. overall, i would rate 2024 as a 5 or 6 out of 10. i hold hope that 2025 will be the slightest bit better than 2004 and certainly better than 2020-2023

Wait till you hear that my grandpa has died like several years ago! Moving on without him is WAY TOO HARD for me. He was one of my favorite fricking relatives to ever be alive! ;( For me, 2024? Was the WORST. So many bad things happened to me! Forcibly going to Middlesex Community College (worst Massachusetts college ever) TWICE for job training. My townhouse almost actually got caught on fire because of my stupid Mom's cooking mishap! Skibidi Toilet, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Find Spot at the Beach and other BULLSHIT entertainment has haunted me throughout 2024! And? I was forced to go to The Netherlands in summer for a super boring vacation (and to see my Dad's weird Dutch family). I wanted to actually end my life the entire year multiple times when I was at my lowest point. Despite currently working on a major film for KZbin! I just can't go yet!!! :( For me, this year gets a ZERO out of 10! I'm not expecting 2025 to be any better than 2024. I just wanna go back to (early) 2020! Before COVID began, and enjoy my last good days AGAIN.

@ i’m so sorry for your loss man, i lost a friend of mine to a drug overdose in late 2019 so i def know a thing or 2 about dealing with loss and grief. also i’m sorry your 2024 was bad. ik it’s hard to have hope when times are hard, but something that’s helped me is having at least one reason to keep going. it can be any reason, no matter how big, small, silly or serious. wishing you a better year for 2025 ❤️

@@bombuniverse1578 It's cool sir, but I sadly can't move on! Not without my beloved relatives, plus friends (that didn't die, just ignored me). Also? 2024 has been the suckiest year for everyone. Everything has HONEST TO GOD went to hell after 2012 in my opinion! Unsure how 2025 is going to go... The only thing that is actually keeping me going now? Is working on Mashing All the Way, and that shit WILL be finished before the summer.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of your grandmother. I hope you and your family are doing well. This year was the worst ever for me for a lot reasons. 1 Akira Toriyama's death, which happened right when I was getting into Dragon Ball. 2 Shit entertainment 3 Having to use Windows 11 4 Several trips to the dentist which involved at least 2 root canals 5 Staples from my childhood such as Level Up and Gillian's Wonderland Pier closing for good 6 Finding out my dad needs heart surgery early next year 7 Transformers One bombing, which is tragic because that was actually an amazing film 8 Speaking of Transformers, Gary Chalk [OG Optimus Primal] has cancer and there are concerns about Peter Cullen [THE Optmus Prime]'s health due to his old age and the fact that he had to cancel 2 convention appearances

@@Mikey-zt1kn And just realizing that fact makes me want to cry super hard! Seriously sir, I am a very sensitive person (and REALLY cannot move on anymore). Everything went to complete frick in March 2020 due to COVID! Ever since then, I've went through so much depressing shit! Lost some older relatives and ALL of my irl friends, stopped going outside frequently (especially to travel to a specific destination on my bike), moved out of my hometown and finally saw Spot (my favorite preschool book series) going straight to hell without Eric Hill on board (bless his soul). Alongside many other reasons on why my life, and things in general, now sucks! Even just going to the bowling alley or something does not feel the fucking same! Despite my actual love of bowling! I really miss the Woburn Bowladrome, which may or may not still be open as of now! This is a candlepin bowling alley (from the 1940s) located in Woburn, Massachusetts and it was where I rocked mostly my teen years back in the 2010s with the boys (my brother, and my best friend AND his brother)! As shitty pop music (that was actually so bad it's good) played on the PA. I don't wish to see this classic place get PERMANENTLY shut down! ;( You may have lost your Grandma this year Mikey, but I lost my grandpa back in 2020! :(

Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Spot's Digger (modern Spot by Eric Hill book that sucks), Skibidi Toilets. YEP! Absolute shit entertainment right there, and much more! 3. Windows 11 is the absolute worst OS! Feel free to abandon that modern garbage and go right back to Windows 8.1! That's the OS that I'm currently using, and I don't care if it's not supported anymore! And you shouldn't either. JUST USE IT!!! But please, be careful. 4. I believe I had to get my cavities filled at the dentist this year! Ever since March 2020 (the time when COVID began as a pandemic), I've stopped actively brushing my teeth out of honest fear! And shortly afterwards, I started to get really depressed. And thus? I now only brush my teeth like once in a while (but I still surprisingly have teeth, maybe because of all the milk I drink making them MUCH stronger). 5. The latter place you mentioned had The Man and Dog Show, a retrofitted Chuck E. Cheese's animatronic show that I so badly wanted to see, actually! As a huge fan of animatronics myself. 6. But if I were to do that, I wouldn't get support if I have any problems with my computer, not to mention some of my games [such as Mass Effect Legendary Edition] may not work properly 7 Bomb is a term used to describe a movie underperforming at the box office, I wasn't talking about an actual bombing [luckily, there wasn't one]

Glad you made this rant Mikey! I agree with whatever you said about 2024 (no offense, but you speak too quiet). It's the WORST YEAR of the 2020s! It gave us... - Tiana's Bayou Adventure: The worst new Disney ride ever! It took over the beloved Splash Mountain, which was closed due to false accusations of racism! How wonderful, NOT!!! The storyline doesn't make any sense, ESPECIALLY because it does not have the iconic villain Dr. Facilier casting freaky voodoo magic on you as your log climbs up the final drop (set to The Princess and the Frog song Friends on the Other Side). Plus, it constantly breaks down! Disney is now trying to remove the stupid virtual queue in order to have more guests ride it (since Tiana's unpopular), but that's probably not gonna work! I've luckily rode Splash TWICE at Disney World, but ZERO TIMES at Disneyland! I have never even BEEN to the latter, because California is way too far away from me!!! :( - Skibidi Toilet Merchandise: Yes, that meme is from 2023! But this year? It actually gave us cancerous merchandise of Skibidi like Halloween costumes and a toy! My life is over now after seeing those things!!! ;( - Closure of Wonderland (NJ), where The Man and Dog Show was! I never got to see this lovely animatronic show. - more worthless AI stuff, oh dear! - Hurricane Milton - The death of former U.S. president Jimmy Carter! What a shocker, even though he wasn't the best president in history. He actually lived up to a WHOPPING 100 years old, unlike THE Betty White! Who almost made it. :( - Find Spot at the Beach: A total ripoff of Spot Goes to the Beach, and it isn't even made by Eric Hill (how many fucking times must I repeat this claim to the new team working at Penguin Random House that they are NOT the same person who originally made Spot from 1980 to 2014?!). The worst part of this story is when one of Spot's parents busted down a hut (while looking for Spot who disappeared for no freaking reason) and we see an elephant changing himself (wow, REAL appropriate for kids). Bring back the ORIGINAL Spot, people! :( etc. Honestly sir, in my opinion, 2012 was the last good year! Everything went to fricking total crap after it. I'm SO freaking scared about 2025 being POTENTIALLY worse than 2024 (how can it, when I say that this year has been our lowest point ever?!) because of a possible end of the world scenario! Would it be World War III, a solar storm, PROJECT 2025?! Also the current NYE ball from 2008 will actually be retired after it drops this year (RIP). And yes sir, I'm sadly quitting KZbin forever after Mashing All the Way finally comes out! Completely remade and fixed for you. I'll publicly announce the release date for this whopping 4 hour long made for KZbin film when it's finally finished (and THEN tested for my private opening night). At the moment, the only good things (confirmed for 2025) is that Donald Trump (the good recent president we all miss for valid reasons) will come back to office (and HOPEFULLY start fixing America once again), and Orange Cream Coke will come out! The return of my favorite sexy creamsicle cola which could make the following summer a MUCH better one than 2024 summer.
