THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING 💖💖💖 I’m so sorry the audio got jumbled up! I made subtitles as well so hopefully that helps. Let me know which pages/spreads you liked or disliked ❤️ thank you for all your support!

OMG this is all so cute. If I were a fiction reader I'd totally love to do something like this just to enjoy looking at everything I've accomplished. But I almost exclusively read non-fiction which takes much longer (for me) to read, so I've been struggling to meet my reading challenge goal every year as it is haha. Maybe if I did something like this I'd work harder at it just so I can fill all these adorable pages out. So creative and fun!

Awwee thank you so much!! Any good non-fiction recommendations by chance? 💗 Also if you ever decide to make your own version of a reading journal there’s no pressure to fill up the entire thing. It can always be broken down into multiple years 💕

I'm just the type to start things with grand ideas, never finish them, and then get disappointed that I didn't finish them haha. I'm not sure if what I read would be to your tastes. If you're looking for books about forensics, forensic anthropology, or animal cognition I could definitely provide a great recommendation. I also read generally about the study of animals and their behaviour. I'd be happy to give you some titles if any of those topics are of interest. Or tell me what you feel like reading and I can see if I have anything on my list! @@planwithelenaa

@@CDN_Bookmouse that all sounds incredibly interesting! I’d love some book recommendations on animals and or plants if you got them :)

@planwithelenaa You bet! The Elephant Whisperer and Babylon's Ark are two great books by Lawrence Anthony. The former is about a group of "rogue" elephants and their last chance at life on his game reserve, and the latter is about when he went to Iraq during the war to save the animals at their zoo with essentially his two hands and the help of the locals. Two incredible, moving stories that are extremely well-written. A snap to read as well. The Wolverine Way by Douglas Chadwick, a short book about the study of wolverines in the wild. Some really surprising revelations about their lives. For example did you know wolverine fathers are extremely hardworking and nurturing? So great. Beyond Words: What Animals Think and Feel by Carl Safina, a study of the family lives of elephants, wolves, and killer whales. Their emotional complexity and close family ties. It may change the way you think about the way animals think. Beneath the Surface by John Hargrove, an incredible companion to the Blackfish documentary. John tells more of his stories about the orcas he has known, how they lived their lives in captivity, and how they showed him their intelligence and sensitivity. A heartbreaking but fascinating read. An Immense World by Ed Yong, which examines how other creatures experience the world using their senses--ones we share and ones unique to them. What is it like to hear as a bat, to feel the lure of the flame as a beetle, to follow the magnetic pull of the Earth like a turtle? This book reveals the incredible ways other animals see, smell, feel, hear, and sense the same world we do. Life On Earth by David Attenborough briefly covers the history of all life and how it was pushed by ever-changing conditions closer to the life we currently know. Easy and interesting read. Plight of the Living Dead by Matt Simon, which explores real-life zombies that exist in the insect world. Fascinating and a little horrifying. Could make a great Halloweentime read! On my list to read is The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben, I Contain Multitudes by Ed Yong, and The Botany of Desire by Michael Pollan. I'm afraid I haven't gotten to much reading about plants since I find animals more interesting, but if I like these ones or find something else that's awesome, I'll come back and let you know. Thanks for letting me talk about some favourite books! :)

What photo printer do you use? I want to try a book log with photos next year. Thanks. Plus I love all the detail you put into your log. Thanks for sharing.

I use my local grocery store and order a 10x15cm print. (Around 4x6in) It’s around 50 cents a print I can fit about 16 book covers on one sheet. I use Canva to make the spreads where I can just drag and drop the photos. I will attach a link for the Canva spread I use so you can have it too 😊 You don’t need to have Canva premium or anything it’s completely free the way I use you and how you can use it too ❤️
Is Storybook an app? I can’t seem to find any about it?

@@ssfoster95 yes StoryGraph is an app 😊 highly recommend! It's my most used bookish app. It's a good and easy way to track reading stats Sorry I must've misspoke earlier. It's StoryGraph not storybook ❤️ app.thestorygraph.com/profile/_stevens
