Love your setup! Definitely thinking of revamping how i track how many books read towards my reading. Those little boxes looked cute, but definitely too many and time consuming to fill out. I also ran out of space so quickly! 💀 Definitely hope to find out what other spreads work for me for 2024.

It’s a process to figure out what spreads work for you and what doesn’t but that just means each year the journal (hopefully) will be even better than the last lol

Thanks Shawna! I’m using mainly tombow markers and then the fine black lines are pigma microns. I have a bullet journal supplies video I filmed a while back but it’s in my reading journal playlist!

Loved these spreads so much. Definitely gave me some more ideas for my reading journal. I’m curious though, for immersive reading, how do you count that in your book type spread? Do you count it as audiobook or physical if you’re reading both at the same time? I do that all the time and struggle to figure out which way to count it

I totally agree. I count it as an audio and either an ebook or physical (however I’m reading along) but I only count it as one book towards my total books read if that makes sense lol

Love that journal! Nice choice of stickers, too. I decided this year to color in my shelfie with the colors of the actual book covers not the genres. I had too much repetition in the colors. You could just color in the boxes if the total books spread is part of the journal. I don't use that bookish goals type spread.

lol I usually make a new reading journal every year so I’ll add to the series in my next journal. With incomplete series I usually just put squares for the books that are released or announced and when I did my setup for 2024 the 3rd book hadn’t been announced yet

omg lol I think it's a newer fantasy romance trope where the love interest and main character have to share a horse. they're usually rubbing against each other and it's very tension & angst building. I go feral 😂
