I also have trouble reading text now. So I listen to tons of audio books. I still can’t stop buying physical books though. I love them so much. I would recommend “There, There” for your indigenous book. It was amazing. Your dogs are hilarious!

Yes, I can’t stop buying physical books either. Just something about them. ♥️ And the Corgis say thank you. They are always happy to entertain. 😂

I’m glad I’m not the only one who collects books from author I think I’ll like but have never actually read yet 😂. For example have 4 Anne Patchett books but have never read anything by her!

It's def a problem for us "gotta collect'em all" types. lol!

I'm so glad you have a youtube channel because I really miss the Reading Women podcast and your voice and input! I'd love to see videos on books in translation and everything you're reading about disability.

Thank you! That's so kind. I'm regularly on three podcasts ATM. Behind the Mic (AudioFile), Read or Dead (Book Riot), and Read Appalachia.

Poetrygeneration, Steve Donoghue, David Wiley and others have KZbin channels where they regularly read and discuss poetry. I highly recommend poetry generation. They are native speakers from the UK and listening to them read for example Wordsworth’s I wander Lonely As a Cloud, I finally got the rhymes! There’s a man on the channel who does an amazing reading of Rosetti’s Goblin Market. Wow. Just wow. BTW , I ‘m also disabled but live in rural upstate NY. Cheers!🎉

Your handwriting is just fine, in my opinion. I don't have the cutest handwriting, but it's not terrible, either... and I love it, just because it's mine! 😊

Thank you, I appreciate it! I constantly failed handwriting in school and my teacher just gave up. 😂

Looking forward to hearing more about your plans. Thanks for the heads up re Toni Morrison's audiobooks, I've been wanting to read Beloved but can't find my copy, just checked the library and I can download the audiobook narrated by her to my phone. Sula will be next. Yay! I collect Aus Women writers, had hoped to read Shirley Hazzard's works earlier in the year with Hardcover Hearts but other things kept jumping in the way. I also collect green Virago's and I really need to start reading those, some fabulous women writers almost lost to history amongst those.

I love the green Viragos! I received the whole set as a gift. But I still haven't read them all yet, but they are gorgeous.

There is an abridged - 6 hour version and the unabridged- 15 hour , both narrated by Toni Morrison. They are on Audible.

How about getting subscribers or other book tubers to read to you? It could be a 2024 project

Is it really a Kendra Winchester video without a Dylan squeak?
