I must be getting old. My last Clio was a RenaultSport 182 but im considering this car due to its fuel economy. Seems powerful enough for normal driving and looks like the electric motors provide some very useful torque. Driving gloves add 20 Bhp aswel 😆

Hi Glen. The vehicle is economical for urban use, but if its battery runs low on long trips, you should not expect great performance. We can think of an average fuel consumption of 5.5 liters. This average may drop further within the city. I generally liked the vehicle. Thanks for subscribing :)

Great video. The new Clio is lovely. Unfortunately too low down for me these days. So got a Captur instead which is great. The roads in Turkey are fantastic compared to our shocking roads in the UK.

Why is the battery not charging on constant high speed (140 - 170 km/h), allthough he does not accelerate? Was it because of the steep gradient? I mean it can charge really fast on lower speeds. Does the indicator below the speedometer show how hard you press the accelerator pedal or how much power the vehicle is able to apply?

Hello. The vehicle is more focused on urban use. When its battery runs out, it continues on its way with 1.6 liters of 90 hp. You should not expect much performance on long journeys. 🖐

Ciao. Non ho avuto la possibilità di provare la Mitsubishi, ma viene utilizzato lo stesso motore, solo lo stemma è diverso. Ho amato moltissimo il veicolo, era un modello molto economico 👍

I just got this as my first car, and honestly- the first few weeks were fun but I’m a little bit disappointed overall at it, the screen and infotainment system is..slow… the AC unit and to turn on the defog means it gets really loud inside- so you can’t have a conversation inside- defeating some of the purpose of a quiet hybrid in EV mode. It does drive very smoothly and maneuvers nicely but I’m very disappointed in the miles per gallon, it promises 60-70MPG and I’m getting around 45mpg on average, and that’s with premium E5 petrol as well- my ‘ecoscore’ is 55/100 at the moment so I guess I could be driving a lot better (I like the acceleration that the EV provides and probably overuse it), and I’m mainly driving in very urban areas- but still- 45mpg? Renault honestly has to answer for that, especially since I did a 200 mile round trip on the motorway 90% of the journey and I kept it in cruise control, I kept it at 73mph for most of the journey and really tried my best to not overtake and just keep to my lane and cruise, something is just wrong with the MPG. I got it at a great price (it was a demo model and only had 1800 miles on it and I paid around 4000£ less than the new price).

@ludovicomonti2379 Ludovico, I confused the cars, please excuse me. There is a limiter at 180 km/h, I think software companies can open it. If you can remove the limiter and with a full charge it can see 145 hp and 220 km/h, but it cannot stay at those speeds for long because its charge will decrease.

Beware of any Renault cars. I bought a Clio E Tech 1,5 months ago in Poland and already twice have been broken. Torn cables were found and there were short circiuits. I was very lucky there was no fire and I’m still alive. The lowest quality production level that I’ve ever seen.

We Hopefully didnt had Any Problems with our rent-a-car 2023 Model Clio V. (1.0 90HP, Icon) Car workes like a charm. Most problem was Fuel Consumtion with approx 6lt/100km, Mainly Out-Of City usage.
