I love all your vlogs and this was no exception . You have a lot of patterns i don't havre so very interesting to hear of them and about them and where they sit in your favourites. I have not made any trousers this year, I’ve been losing weight intentionally and so cant bring myself to spend the time on those. My favourite free range slacks are a bit baggy but i still wear them and im hoping to make some more which wont be a chore. Im tempted by the chanterelle ? Pants and they look as though they will be easy to fit. This has been the year of the skirt for me and the favourite is the Saturday skirt set skirt and i have just made another in a lovely green linen. Oh and, whilst i have the pattern, i have yet to make a TATB dress so you’re not the last on the planet. Note to self though. Thanks for the review . I shall watch again and make some notes

Thanks Jan....Oo your Saturday set sounds fab! I'd say the Chanterelles would be a good one for fluctuating sizes I'd just top stitch the elastic vertically so you can reduce the size if needed? The Lyra is a fab pattern but there are lots of others that are similar! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment too 😊

Some lovely makes there. I managed 33 garments in 2024. I am a fairly new fan of Itch to Stitch and made the Upland Trousers in a linen/cotton mix and they are so comfortable and the sizing is perfect. It was my first zip fly in years. I may try more of her patterns - I have four but have only made the trousers so far, but those Belleville Jeans look good. I get tempted by dresses but rarely wear them in real life - perhaps for a special do which is not very often.

Ooo the Uplands sound fab, the ITS patterns I've made have all be well drafted and clear! I have several unmade too! Wear what you feel good in! I did find though when I put a skirt in my capsule for the challenge that I loved wearing it .....maybe it's finding the right aesthetic/fabric combo ?! The Belvilles are fab ...go for it!

I nearly bought the Amari vest a while ago. I actually used the LB pullover without sleeves and the collar for a boiled wool remanent and I’ve made it shorter and it’s a nice fit. Love your oxbows and your chanterelles. I’m going to cut my oxbow toile out this week and a slim pair of Ash jeans. I do love your hanbok vest with the burgundy/pink dress. I’ve made two but don’t wear them a lot. I will make some chanterelles this spring as well and some Arenites. I recommend the

Ooo interesting....I used the LB to try and refashion the Amara 😁 Hurray for Oxbows! The Arenites were my fail a few years ago. I may need to revisit as I had some silk jersey earmarked to be them !! 😂

I loved this! It's great to hear what happens to a garment once it's been finished, and there were quite a lot of 'I remember that' moments for me. Thank you for the time and trouble you've taken to make this video.

I love your pants shapes and how you style them. I bought a pair of high waisted barrel leg Levi's to try the silhouette but just never quite got the right proportions between tops and bottoms. I do love my Lander pants and thanks to you, my matching pompon vest.

Really great makes. Love a trouser, really tempted by the ox bows and chanterelles now! The vest is also really tempting! I have made several egg bags for gifts, great pattern, need to make one for me. Have you tried the lined jerkin free pattern from sew different. I have several and love it, similar idea to the amari. Love the look of the scout on you, really suits you.

@@debsmadethisit looks similar to the TATB Lyra - would you agree?
@debsmadethis
@debsmadethis 20 күн бұрын
@pinkpaulasews4929 it doesn't have a waist seam or a back yoke so is a much simpler make which takes less fabric!
