I bought a 24 roadglide, I like the seat, I can go 2 hrs on it without getting sore. Windshield is to low but that is for looks. I put the 10 inch from harley on, can hear the stereo a bit better but stereo is junk pretty much. Bars are good, handles good, 117 has lots of power, I installed a stage one on it now. Brakes are good, suspension is way better rhen it used to be.

Bob and Tam, your review is spot on. What still befuttle's me is if that is the seat, windshield and stereo are the first 3 things people change the HD is NOT listening to their customer's. With that said I'm 5'9" so I added a 10" windshield so the wind would go over my head instead of right to my ears. Nope you will not hear the stereo as you said at 45 mph. I added the Rockford stage 2 had it flashed and holy shit Batman it's a whole new bike now, even at 110 mph. I did my thing to custom my throttle response and ride...WOWZER! It's not hard to do just watch the tutorials and it will be fine. Theres a mode switch on inside of your right blinker switch that you can go back and forth depending on your curve's. GREAT review and I subcribed.

You do not need to hold the starter button down when starting these 24s. Just click it once and it will start. I never use the built in speakers as I have lived with speakers in my helmet for many years and prefer the clarity of sound. Plus you don't annoy other riders or drivers with music blaring. Setting up for Apple Carplay and connecting my headset was simple and it just works each time I get on the bike, kudos to Harley for getting that right. The only real negative is the speaker grills look a bit cheap.

I realize that things have to change with the times, but I’m just not a fan of the direction the MoCo is going. IMO Harleys should be air cooled v-twins. These have a more metric flair to them and I think that’s intentional to draw to customers to the brand, which is what the board of directors should be doing for the investors, I’m just not a fan of it though….

Motorcycles are so subjective. I always love it when guys beat up on other brands or different models. It almost sounds elementary school. Mines better than yours. Anyway, I do think Harley stepped up there game with the new stuff. I also think they are way too much money. But as for the little things most people will not like, how many people actually keep their bike bone stock? Part of the fun of ownership, at least for me, is modding the bike to make it my own and not look like everyone else. As the saying goes, to each their own.

As others have said, “I’m not sure that I like having the modes, I didn’t use the different modes”. You seem like a very nice guy, but maybe shouldn’t be doing “brutally honest” reviews that aren’t possibly honest. If you have a monetized channel you should earn your viewers. If you’re shocked at the low windshield you haven’t ridden many new vehicles designed to look good. There hasn’t been a usable windshield on a RG in the past decade.
@bobandtams5 ай бұрын
I've been riding a motorcycle for over 50 years. I'm not sure how many bikes you have, Riden. I would say somewhere over 500. When I give a review, it is based on my riding of it. Yes, HD doesn't put the right size windshields from the factory. If I didn't say something about it, someone would have called me on it. Since this video in March, I have taken a 2024 Road glide & Street Glide out in the Black Hills on a more intense ride. This was not a click bait video. You must not watch our channel. We built a 50 x 60 steel shop to start building bikes for Vets. If my review wasn't honest, I don't know what would be. Oh, we have 26800 subs getting 100 a day right now. Have a great day.
@dougl46805 ай бұрын
@@bobandtams Like I said, you seem(ed) like a nice guy that is obviously working on subscriptions and clicks. I'm just a guy that has also been riding for 52 years. I don't need to count how many bikes I've ridden. I purchased my first Harley in 2013 and have never been on one that has a useful windshield. I know that a standard RG doesn't come with a backrest so I wouldn't complain about it. I took a short ride on a 24 RG and tried all the modes to see what it was like. I also don't feel I'd use them much, but could see rarely using them and could tell others what it was like, but I don't make money giving "Brutally Honest Reviews". I wish you the best of luck and hope you get all the clicks, likes, and subs to make all your dreams come true. I"m going to buy a 24 RG, and change the windshield, seat, floorboards, exhaust, and bars to fit me. The display is awesome, the handling and lighter weight is a noticable improvement over my 2017 RG. The power is also obviously improved. Also never met anyone satisfied with a stock Harley seat, but the 24's are a lot bettert than the 17.

Yeb, Yeb, I do live here. Orlando. The 2024 Road King is nice, BUT, Harley has taken away so much stuff, especially the rear luggage bag. That in itself, Harley will charge you your second born, because your first born is paying for the bike. Too expensive. I just came from Orlando Harley. I have a 2014 Ultra Classic, lots of options. They first came back with $7,400., I told them, are you kidding me. They wanted my business soo bad that he came back with a $12,400. Offer, that’s a big difference. Do not purchase a 24 The new bikes are aerodynamic garbage. Even with a taller windshield you have the same problems The way HD flies the air over the ferring and into the rider washes away your stereo speakers When you ride in the rain the water runs in and over the screen. When water drops fall and hit the screen it can change your screen like you’ve touched it. I’ve had it change music, back out of the screen I’m in. The vibration in the front end feels like your wheel is going to fall off I fully regret my 24 purchase I want a refund
