I have this phone and I'm very happy with it, unfortunately the speaker does get blocked by bedding or a table but when you are holding the phone it sounds really good

You heard some of that in the video, the speaker has a warm sound signature, you won't be getting subwoofer bass response because physics, but it does sound very good. I like the sound

No, but fortunately this is android and there is plenty of apps for that. I like bass booster and bass booster pro with a headphone as the app icon. The default sound signature sounds good though even through headphones
