Ulefone has very good products. I already bought 3 models Armor 16S, 21 and 22. Ulefone should focus their research now on how to make thin batteries with high capacity, if you do your products guaranteed to be the best rugged phone ior regular phonoe in the world.

to be fair most phone brands aren't actually the one manufacturing their own batteries, you're kinda a slave to whatever is available on the market, and compared to 10-15 years ago 15-20k mah batteries are tiny nowadays

Ulefone never answers that question unfortunately. If you go on their videos they always dodge the question by saying if it has software issues they will always update it with software fixes, or something similar to that.

I'm pretty sure it does not, the GSM chip (4G/5G) is connected to its own internal antenna, these detachable antennas are only for VHF or UHF radio bands (to be used for walkie-talkie functionality).

The issue with these phones is the software support is horrendous. They come out with so many new phones that software updates is not existent after 1-2 years.driver support is crap. Their accessories suport is crap, the belt clip is not reliable and wears out quickly. They need to redouble their efforts on that and then make a ultra flagship with:rugged ness,10000 mah battery, superzoom, thermal cam, microscope, laser measurment,top and back flashlights, IR, uhf/vhf with multi protocol support- dmr, nxdn,analog. Sell it for a thousand and people will still buy it.

EXACTLY. It's so difficult to decide which one I want to buy, because I really want satellite com, but also the dual-band digital & analog radio, and the thermal cam. I'd pay more to have a combo kit phone! Only thing that worries me is lack of updates. Android 14 is already out, and updates to support satellite communications will be next and phones won't support it if they can't be updated. Search AST space mobile.

@@nates9589 Can also buy the FLIR usb C adapter to fit in Armor 26 walkie talkie. Its very hard to make decision between Armor 27t Pro 5G vs Armor 26 Ultra Walkie Talkie. Most probably will buy Armor 26 and attach with FLIR usb C adapter. Because the standalone FLIR adapter thermal is 25hz compared to Armor 27t Pro 5g thermal which is 9hz.

That projector doesn't do anything when you're out in the wild dude. When there's absolutely zero signal such as in the forest or mountain and you don't wanna lose communication with your team, the only answer is the walkie talkie not that silly projector. That's what I called a true outdoor smartphones.
