The women of hollywood are 'trying to push this narrative but unfortunately so many fighting any signs of aging with treatments etc, so respectfully it can defeat their words .Thank you Margaret for refusing the options offered to you .and feeling proud of who you are, which is BEAUTIFUL!!!

I’m 65, and long ago I stopped caring what other people think of how I look. Why do we have to “look younger”? Like we’re fooling anyone. Embrace your age, whatever age you are. Stay healthy. Enjoy life.

Great video 🥰 my mum told me she felt like she was on 30s in head (she was 94 at the time 😂) but I understand that now. You're still the same person you've always been, it's just your body that ages ❤️ x

I’m like you, I love playing with makeup. I know what you mean about getting more attention if we are beautiful but I think people like you get attention for your readiness to smile and your attitude of being kind. I love the commercial you mentioned. It always makes me smile. It reminds me we should always look to have fun.

I try to keep my focus on what I think and feel about myself. The older I get, the more I realize there will always be people who want to think a certain way about me, no matter what the age. I think my work is to know in my heart who I am, and accept that, and live the life that feels right to me.

Beauty starts from within for me, I watched my mom when I was a young child, she was consistently beautifying herself, so I learned how to use natural products, straight out of the kitchen. I love my skin.

To me, being bouncing back from life's challenges is a must. As is continuing to grow and learning something new every day. I see life as book, with various chapters, as one door closes another opens. Being ready to embrace change and opportunities is part of successful aging. Even on a small budget, there are KZbin videos that help us look our best. You're amazing Margaret, always beautiful, inside and out! And, and inspiration to those of us who are nolonger 'spring chickens'!

Hi, Happy New Year from MN! I agree, we are comfortable in our skin leading the way for the women behind us. We are doing amazing work and things in our lives. Focusing on skin care with good hydration that creates a pretty glow is what I want. It's a New world in aging. My fashion is active wear, casual dresses with accessories. I watch Alternative Aging on YT and I love her style and energy. I love this video. xo

My neighbour, who lived to be 97, would say how much she loved her life, and that one's 70's are the best time, after that, things went down hill a bit. That said, one day the Fire Dept. arrived at ther house to perform a Welfare Check. As they were about to break down her front door. I told one of them, she had a better social life than any of us, and that she was likely out with a friend enjoying breakfast, which turned out to be correct. She always kept her options open, had an overly full diary, and picked what she felt like when the day arrived. She was, 'the captain of her ship.' Nobody told her what to do. She enjoyed massages, taking trips, going out for lunch with various groups, and living life to the fullest. She also loved simple pleasures such as watching the sunset over the bay, even though she was legally blind. Never a dull moment! Her only regret in life was that her only son was still born, something she mentioned often, especially when we saw young children that she so obviously enjoyed. RIP Christina!

I just learned that 71% of menopausal and post-menopausal women suffer from muscular-skeletal pain. I'm one of them. I'm now looking into what I can do to mitigate the discomfort. That pain was the major source of my feeling sad sometimes.

Love that ad with the gal' s having a sled~seat on a snow run. Perfectly, just the way it should be. And we absolutely must enjoin Emma Thompson ( writer, director, producer) along for the gaff and consecutively hot chocolate, whipped cream and mini-marshmallows! That would be a giggle and a hoot 😅😂

If those devices worked that well, we'd all look 45 in a few weeks or a year....wont happen. I almost feel you see things after spending 500 or more dollars than are there. Some influencers I honestly look at before and after and can't see anything really different but comments say "great". To each her own.
@lindaferguson630 Жыл бұрын
I dont agtee that it is these older celebrities that us older women should be influenced by. Look for everyday women who do great things not just what they look like. Its not us older women who need to re think our image. It is trying to get the younger women to value what we have to offer as older women. There is a long way to go. Just being yourself and accepting that has always been the case and always will be. We all know we are pretty fabulous, because its being olderthat makes us that way. We can all still use makeup and skin care etc, but what defines us as an older woman is our acceptance of ourselves. Younger women dont posess that.
