I feel like using pot of desires you really cripple yourself because you could chuck your field spell or many of your 1 of or 2 of and have nothing left to combo with. Or am i missing something here?

You generally, only activate pot of Desire after searching the field spell and dumping with Gazelle. Going first, it's generally used after these searches to dig into your deck and search for more handtraps/interruptions. The decks engine is super efficient, but it has a mid-range ceiling. Pot helps this by adding these disruptive tools which you are likely to find after your searches, summons from deck and dumps. The only time you open your turn with Pot going first is if you're in a tight situation. Going second, pot can be used at the beginning of your turn. This is to either bait disruption or search for more combo extenders. Going second, the point is OTK with Accesscode. So you don't mind banishing your one ofs.

tips for beginner? I just started and got the structure for salaman bc i liked link cards. You recommend this deck for me bc its kinda expensive i guess idk how many cards i can craft and stuff. ir should i stick to smth more simple?

Still recommend the Deck. If you need more free gems, I can recommend going to Solo mode and completing all the stories. You can get a ton a free gems doing that. Should be more than enough to complete the deck

I only play droll at one in my list just so its a target for crossout lot of decks in the meta play around it

You're right; smart players will find a way around it. But I feel that playing around Droll lowers your deck's ceiling. Plus, I feel as though Droll is so impactful against Snake-Eyes you kinda need to play it to check them. Not sure if you agree?

I do agree but i find running it at 2 with other hand traps bricks up my hand a lot more then it should so i try playing it at one

@@johnkennedy8671 yeah, I mean it's ultimately what works for you. I'll admit the card is bricky. Like drawing D shifter after you have a grave. So 1 isn't a bad way to go about it.
