The Sapporo Snow Festival opened on February 4, 2024. I visited the festival, focusing on the Light Projection of the large snow sculpture.

二カ所のプロジェクションマッピングをバンザイポーズで撮影したので肩がパンパンにこってしまいました😅 カメラが動かないようにするのに必死でした♫

The snow sculptures are all white during the day, but at night they seemed to come to life and were amazing ☃️✨

Wow, Ramujiro! The Snow Festival would make visiting Hokkaido in winter so worthwhile. Loved the racehorse one and movie. The old station looked so amazing with all the windows lit up.

Glad you enjoyed it, Donna! I brought a tripod to shoot the light projection, but there were too many people and I had to hand-held it like a banzai. My shoulders were stiff.😅

まだ一度も見たことのない雪まつりが見れてよかったです。もう、実施に見ることはないと思うので、たいへん楽しませていただきました。プロジェクションマッピング、ここ１，２年でKZbinで知ったことです。だんだん進化していきますね。

ここ数年の雪像はプロジェクションマッピングが主流になってきましたね。そのためか平面な部分が多く、昔の雪像の方が作りが精巧だったような気がします😊暖かなお言葉ありがとうございます☃️

@@RAMUJIRO 高速とかは全部通行止めだったみたいですね。僕は仕事で宇都宮に行ってましたが栃木は夜には雨でした。都内と埼玉は雪が長引いたのかな？翌日神奈川に行ったけどそうでもなかったです。
