* Trigger warning for this episode, as there are discussions of sexual harassment, assault, and domestic violence
On this week’s episode, Zoe and Hannah are recapping the 2024 Saudi Arabia GP. But, before getting into the race weekend, they discuss the drivers’ extremely disappointing comments, Christian Horner’s accuser being suspended, and the FIA president being investigated for interfering with race results. WTF! As for the racing, they break down Ollie Bearman’s incredible debut, Pierre’s terrible weekend, KMag’s impressive defense, and, of course, the WONDERFUL F1 Academy weekend.

If you’re curious why Lando did not get a penalty it’s because McLaren argued that his sensor did not go off. All drivers have some sort of sensor that automatic alerts the stewards if they jump start and his didn’t go off which means he wasn’t completely probably over the line but he did jump start a bit. I think they also did penalize him because he didn’t gain anything from it, I think he actually lost from it because he got flustered and immediately stopped a and had to restart so he had a bad start.

Lewis gets 10000 points for his statement about Red Bull. Georges gets 5 points. The rest of them are disqualified for my affection. On a lighter more positive note I'm really digging in the F1 Academy and love that it's getting more coverage and attention. These girls deserve it ❤

As a male fan, I didn’t message you btw, but I do care to listen to you speak on this issues, not because I want to pin on you the responsibility to deal with it but because even now there are so few women on Motorsport and I like to listen to your perspective because it doesn’t matter how much I care I will never be a woman and will never fully understand or live the struggle of being one. There will always be a point of view that I don’t have, I agree with everything you said but there will be others where is miss some thing. I understand it’s tiresome and frustrating to keep talking about this situations that keep repeating not only in this sport but in general and it will never be not important to speak out about this.

The other side of the coin, why is western society so focussed on representation of minorities these days? If i had to employ somebody as a boss i couldn't care less what you are as a person or your orientation, all i would care about as a boss is "is this person RIGHT for the job". I'm a middle aged person but this "victimhood" mentality of gender/sex/race in general in our Western society these days is really worrying...

What happened with Doriane was that her last radio message was :"go for fastest lap" she kept asking how many laps left no response. So for her she's in qualifying mode and then the flag. That's a joke honestly if you look on her on-board there's no way you can see it. It took me several atempt to see it. At her speed there's no way you can see it. It was waved weakly not like in the first race where it was Susie who waved it. The second race it was a Saudi Arabian princess (if her title was correct) and they apparently didn't explain her how to correctly wave the flag. So when everything happens Doriane is still going. As she still thinks there's few laps left. And it's normal for her to think like that as there was so many safety cars and restart. So yeah. Overall it's on the team and the person who waved the flag. Also there should be other indications to announce the end of the race imo. As for how to pronounce Doriane Pin, you can try to say it the French way as it's the correct way. But she also says it in the English way in video, for international fans. So tbh your choice

Kmag ran 1 Indycar race at Road America in 2021, and was doing some testing along with his sports car duties before he got the call to come back to Haas. Very very realistic that we could see him come back stateside for Indycar when his contract expires

Also another thing that doesn’t make sense to me in this whole redbull situation is the person who started this - Jos Verstapen. Like mans has a mad history with SA, e.g, Max’s mom had a restraining order against him. Find it very ironic that he’s the one who started this …

Overall, I've also been very disappointed in the drivers' response to the Horndog situation - especially those who were willing to take the knee for BLM. Not the same thing, I know - but to just offhandedly dismiss (alleged) workplace harassment as "noise" or give some other fluff answer? I expected a bit more moral fibre. Teams aren't allowed to mark their own homework in any other instance where it concerns the "integrity" of the sport, how is this any different? It stinks.

The penalty Doriane got was ridiculous! There was a video of her onboards of when she crossed the chequered flag and you literally cannot see the flag being waved because there was a light panel right in front of it. So harsh for no reason. They should've fined the team in my opinion.

48:07 I keep saying this. It doesn't matter how their relationship started, she still doesn't deserve this. The only person not facing the consequences that they deserve is Horner. His wife has to put up face everywhere, hear nasty remarks, the accuser got fired, his children are most likely going through a rough time.

She was fired because she was 'dishonest' per Redbull statement. I think she only showed screen shots that indicated Horner was being aggressive. IMO, they were having an affair, the girl got tired of it and Horner didnt want to stop.

Lando was not penalised because the transponder didn't register a jump start. Nothing to do with being British - the exact same thing happened a few years ago with Vettel and he was not penalised. Last time I looked Vettel was German.

PS, You don't DESERVE anything from a company that you aren't a shareholder of or invested in. No, you don't deserve to know anything more than they choose to share, Zach himself does NOT share much of the inner workings and disciplinary procedures in his own company because it's private and not our business... "Everyone with a phone is a journalist" indeed. Just wild, random speculation. Damn. Be better, please.

can someone share a timestamp when i hear ricciardo being called out for his tone deaf/ignorant statement. this guy is one of the more popular drivers. he needs to be called out for his behvior. can't hide behind the guise..."oh im just a bit ignorant." in this day and age, not good enough daniel. dropping the ball again when it comes to standing up for whats right and being courageous.

Also regarding Ricciardo's character that's not a surprise for me. Look at his behavior from years before not surprising that's he's being that bigoted. Hulkenberg too. The others I'm disappointed. But yeah Ricciardo and Hulkenberg not news in my eyes. Thus why I don't understand people who support them.

I do agree what Zoe(Zoey) said that maybe finding the right words or phrase can't seem nowhere to be found. But tbh, Ricciardo been singled out ever since this "comment on redbull issue" which other drivers did too but their names won't be plaster to any comment I guess. He's popular, Yes. Should we hold him to a high standard for setting a good example? Absolutely. But he is not part of that team and probably know as much as we do.

While I understand us needing to remind ourselves that there's corruption and disgusting man everywhere and in multiple sports, we still need to call out wrongs when we see them otherwise its us saying : boys will be boys 🤪. so i liked when you said close to the end that's it's important to hold them accountable to their actions/whats they say.
@fanbehaviorpod

definitely didn't mean it as "boys will be boys," more so that we need to hold all sports/athletes accountable and reflect on what we decide to overlook in our own lives (at least speaking from my own personal experience) We should expect more from the people we root for! ❤
