I absolutely love this review of the whole year of Sewers Club projects. I didn't start getting it until the Poppy's Notion Pouch. Agree it was a very great year of projects! The Poppy pouch went to Vermont with my granddaughter when she visited me last month as her pencils were getting all scattered in the car and my daughter asked if I had a bag she could use. I've heard back that she LOVES it. 2 of the other projects have been gifts to other people and I'm using the basket and all the other bags.

I’m so happy your grand daughter loves the pouch, I’m sure it’s great when it’s made properly 😁SC had a great year this year, so it was a great time to subscribe.

Good morning & happy Christmas Adam to those who celebrate. Well, we have come full circle here; the first video of yours that I ever watched was the 2023 Sewers Club Year in Review. It feels different watching this year's since I've seen the original opening/project review videos, and there's a lot of "Oh, I remember this one, I liked this one!" going on over here. Seeing everything all together like this really drives home what a great subscription this is. There really isn't a bad project in the bunch. I like your choices for the top 3 (although I would have chosen the crossbody bag that I think was for April - the one that's all in green tones with a brown contrast instead of the book tote. I fully concede the possiblity that this is due solely to it being in a "oh that's so ME" color scheme, LOL. BTW, there's a bit of an issue with the video during this section. When you talk about the pink basket, the screen is showing the mesh bag from January, and when the book tote "slides" in, it goes behind the previous two stills so you can't actually see it. For least favorites, I agree that the placemats were not exciting, although as I'm sure you recall I liked them much more after seeing your finished ones than I did from just the pattern photo. The dish tote, it's understandable why it made your list; it would not have made mine. My neighbor has potlucks several times a year & it would definitely get used in the Owen household. (In fact, I'm making a casserole tote as we speak - handstitching the binding as I watch the video - although it's not as fancy as the one from Sewers Club.) On the other hand, what else could you have possibly chosen when 2024 was such a great year? Thank you for posting the year in review. It was a lot of fun revisiting old projects, and of course seeing your kitties was a real treat as well :-)

Hello, I don’t have much time to write, thank you for letting me know about my video issues, I unfortunately, don’t have the time to fix it. I’d have to edit that section and upload it abc I just don’t want to. Saving the video last night took forever so I’m not surprised there’s an issue. I’ll come back to chat about the rest later 😁

Do you just lay the painters tape, and stitch on both sides of it?

I start that way and then line the tape up with the last row of stitches. The tape lasts quite awhile depending on what you are quilting.
